Prosecutors Seek To Jail Rapper Chief Keef Over Sudden Move To Upscale Neighborhood

(AllHipHop News) Chicago rapper Chief Keef will start off the new year fighting for his freedom in court tomorrow (January 2).

Prosecutors are attempting to put Chief Keef in jail, after he moved from his old residence, without telling his probation officer.

The rap star, born Keith Cozart, has moved from a residence with his uncle, into a house in the upscale neighborhood of Northbrook.

The sudden move has angered his probation officers and caused alarm for some of the residents of Northbrook, who fear his ties to the Black Gangster Disciples could bring problems to the neighborhood.

The rapper, who is on probation for pointing a gun at a police officer, is also facing a court date later in the month for a separate, alleged parole violation.

In that case, Chief Keef is accused of holding a gun at a range in New York in a video for Pitchfork Media, in violation of his probation.

Nas brought in the New Year at Radio City Music Hall with a performance assisted by a set from Elle Varner. Fabolous brought in 2013 in style at Las Vegas’ Gallery at the Planet Hollywood Casino & Resort Hotel, a 2,500 person mega club. Other rappers seem to be more focused on making 2013 a success. “Going over these new year goals… A lot to do this year,” Big Sean told his fans. Some rappers like The Game didn’t make specific plans plans, ringing in the New Year relaxing “Happy New Years Eve. Hope everyone has their plans all figured out. I have no idea what I’m doing but no matter what you do…. Enjoy it !” The Game told fans via Twitter. 2 Chainz simply Tweeted a picture of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas saying, “Gone b a movie tonight” http://instagr.am/p/T6vo9KzYQQ/

Other rappers encouraged safety as the world said good bye to 2012 and prepares for another year.

“I don’t wanna hear about or see none of my yungins out here dead or in jail so be safe tonite & #staytrippy,” Taylor Gang’s Juicy J told friends from his account @therealjuicyj.

Whewwwwww WEEEEE! Starting these rumors off with a BANG in 2013. I heard a doozie recently and I’m not sure that I can believe that its completely true. On the flip, I wouldn’t be shocked if it was. Eminem has been evolving a lot over the last few years. We’ve seen it. Maturity. Sobriety.

I heard an interesting rumor recently. I was told that Eminem has quite possibly turned his life over to God and gotten saved! CRAZY?!?! Now, his verse on 50 Cent’s song he references Christ, but it sure doesn’t sound like he’s born again. But a source claiming to be from Detroit and knowledgeable enough says that Em has been going through even more changes as his daughter gets older, he removes himself further from the depths of the music industry. The sourse also suggested that is has had an impact on business and some of the acts, but mostly on his refusal to conform to what his expected of him from the music game. The butt in the face thing was mentioned as an example of one of the final straws for Em.

I did a google search and I found this video. Maybe Eminem has been a born again Christian or just came BACK.

This interview is crazy. I know a lot of people have seen it, but I have not seen it in so long. But, peep the depth to which Tupac was going in on the Illuminati. The dude was looking to create a political party to combat the Illuminati in the 1990’s. Now I know you guys are way smarter than I am when it comes to this. Now after this initial interview with Pac, there’s a lot of commentary that I am not able to verify or co-sign.

Young Jeezy just lost the boy Freddie Gibbs and now it looks like he’s lost another artist. Scrilla has tweeted that he is also leaving the Corporate Thugz label for greener pastures somewhere else. I don’t know where that could be, but he was a very diplomatic thug on twitter.

 

“I want to take the time to say its been a learning experience working with CTE. no hard feelings but its time for me to do me.”

He signed over a year ago and really didn’t make a lot of progress in that time. The thing is Jeezy has a situation over there at Atlantic Records with CTE.

Wonder if he has a better situation already lined up?

Wow….

Last night Kanye and Kim Kardashian aka kimYe nearly broke the internet when they revealed that she was impregnated with the seed of Ye. Mannnn….the internet had a lot to say, even those that said “who cares” inadvertently had an opinion. Well, finally a video has emerge of Kanye making the big announcement of is baby mama.
