MEL B GETS MARRIED – IN JUNE?
Mel B went and got married. That was faster than the Flash! WOW. I mean, she is in the midst of beefing with the father of her kid…she had the baby four months ago. This dude popped up mad fast and now they are hitched?! On top of that, they are saying the pair actually married in June – not over the weekend. Anyway, she is married to Black royalty as the husband isHarry Belafonte’s son Stephen. Best wishes to Stephen and Mel B.
SNOOP DOGG TRIED…
My girl Tiffany told me that Snoop Dogg tried to get dance act Basement Jaxx to cut their set short at Exit Music Festival, a 4-day festival held in Serbia recently. Rumor has it, The Dogg Father wanted Basement Jaxx to cut their set so that his own performance could go longer. The group met his request with a big HELL to the NAH! Here is the G-part. Felix Buxton, one half of the Basement Jaxx said, “Snoop asked us to cut out set short, but we decided to play extra long just to make a point.” Now, that is just plain wrong. I wonder if they danced to any Snoop songs?
KANYE WEST AIN’T GAY AND DON’T DISRESPECT HIM!
It would appear that Kanye is p##### off right now. Read this: “I’m just saying n***a I’m not gay. N***a don’t come at me on none of that s**t. Don’t f***ing disrespect me. On the other side of things, it appears that Kanye is looking to at least appear on TV the same day as 50 Cent. It doesn’t look like he’s going to “debate” anybody though.
50 CENT IS GOING DOWN SOUTH
As mentally stimulating as that vision would be for many ladies…it’s not at all what you think. 50 Cent is rumored to be scouting property in the ATL. I hear he loved it so much when he made his tour stops there, that now he’s thinking about making a permanent move down south. He supposedly has his eyes set on the Buckhead area. But why Atlanta? Is it just a coincidence that he wants to move to the hometown of his rumored cutty-buddy Ciara? Just for the record, they have shot this down numerous times. Nova Nova, ya’ll!

Now, I’ve never had DJ Khaled on AllHipHop’s Rumors, but the brother is officially indoctrinated right now. Rumor has it that the man that runs Miami has been spotted getting very cozy with Ms. Vida Guerra, the Latina model mami! Now, there is nothing in stone, but perhaps this is proof that he is the BEST! I also heard that Khaled manages The Runners. I bet K’s radio/mixtape muscle, The Runners’ beats and Vida’s sex appeal can make a hot song. Yeah, Vida still raps.
LIL’ FLIP GOES BACK IN?
A few days ago, a reader attended a concert downtown in Dallas, Texas and Lil’ Flip came out and he started talking about “f**k the politics and the bulls**t,” that he’s going to keep doing his thing even if the haters are hating on him and don’t want to play him on the radio. Then the crowd started chanting “F**k T.I.” over and over and Flip ALLEGEDLY co-signed like “Yeah, f**k that n***a too, and if you see him tell him I said it.” Can’t anybody get along?
WILLIE THE KID VS LIL WAYNE?
You all know the seeming friction between Lil’ Wayne and DJ Drama’s The Aphilliates. When Dram and Cannon and the crew got in trouble, Lil’ Wayne said some suspect comments about the arrest. Thee Ambassador told me that The Aphilliates’ Willie The Kid airs out his frustration on a new mixtape from Don Cannon and DJ Head. On “Intent to Deliver,” Willie the Kid breaks his silence and takes several jabs at Weezy even though the pair have worked together in the past. Drama appears to still be working with Wayne so maybe there is nothing to this.

I don’t know, but I might be going to hell after watching that and thinking what I thought. It was definitely weird.
KELLY TAKES CONTROL!
There is a monster rumor going on with Kelly Rowland. Rumor has it she is ready to take her career and do a “Janet” as in Control. First, I heard that she might be going to Timbaland’s label where she can get some insane production. She is rumored to be upset that Beyonce is touring during the same time she’s pushing her CD, considering she’s pushed her release back so far. I can’t call it, but I think Kelly is a bigger star than we are currently seeing.
Here is what Kelly told msnbc about her sales:
“Yes, I came in at No. 6 and sold 86,000 records — in a declining market, might I add. I’m very proud of that. Not everybody’s selling records like they used to. Even the biggest artists don’t come out and go platinum in a week anymore. It’s a different day and age in the music industry.”
STOP THROWING STUFF AT RAPPERS
The Game is the latest rapper to lash out at people that decide to toss stuff on stage. I can’t quite make out what happened here, but it looks like somebody in the Belgium crowd acted on Game’s behalf and socked whoever threw the object on stage.

SIGHS (not SIGNS) THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END
ASCAP is suing bars and club owners for not paying a licensing fee to play music. I’m probably late, but I didn’t know this was a normal thing. Nevertheless, what isn’t normal is these watchdog groups like ASCAP, BMI and SESAC going after lil’ bars and clubs. It is the norm now though so if you own a karaoke spot, you better be paying your dues. I guess the less they sell in CDs, the more they pursue other ways to collect money. Sighhhhhh….
