When celebs and event planners want to keep things low profile they ban media from covering the event sometimes.
Apparently Ye’s Yeezy Season 5 reveal was a bit different than his past NYFW shows.

According to ET, West has calmed down tremendously following his hospitalization, but he’s still been concentrating heavily on the fashion show.
You probably noticed that you didn’t hear much about the show this year, and very little media coverage as Ye reportedly had that guest list on LOCK!.

“His main focus is making this collection great, having his close friends and family there, and have the buyer have the most positive experience,” said an insider.
Ye’s Yeezy Season 4 reveal was reportedly a disaster with models being dehydrated and being unable to walk in uncomfortable shoes. Oh yeah, it started an hour late in 90 degree weather also.

This time Yeezy opted to show the world his new collection without the media present. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“They don’t want another element to make more drama. The last fashion show on Roosevelt Island was a disaster, and the media made it even worse. They’ve learned they don’t need the media to make it even bigger. His focus is on getting the fashion community to accept the line and his creations. He is just focused on production elements of the actual show right now,” said an inside source.
Well those who were “lucky” enough to get an invite, did get a copy of the Yeezy Season magazine as well as a t-shirt with the words “Lost Hills” on it.
With or without media, if something crazy goes down Yeezy, best believe it’s going to get leaked immediately. LOL.
I just want more out of Ye’s line. His line is something I’d expect from a mumble rapper to be honest.
