(AllHipHop Rumors) A lot has been said about the rumored beef between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. Things seemed to calm down after the two were featured on the “Motorsport” collab by the group Migos.
However, things only began to calm down for a brief period in time.
Rumors of a beef between the two would spark up once again as the group prepared to release their video for the single.
News of the two women not wanting to work in scenes together began to make its round. Both women would later deny these claims, but fans weren’t buying it as the music video premiered.
The video shows both women featured with members of the group, but no scene has the two women together. People took this as a sign that things weren’t so friendly between the two.
Nicki and Cardi would both continue to deny the beef rumors, but fans still weren’t believing their answers. Now Migos have finally spoken about the supposed rift between the two women.
They spoke with Hot 97’s Ebro about this during their recent Beats 1 interview with the host. The group can also be seen in the clip speaking about how they attempted to help the matter.
Ebro states,
“That was a moment for Hip Hop. That could’ve been a phenomenal, beautiful thing for Hip Hop when the ladies come together.”
Quavo would later answer,
“We tried to create that moment. We did.”
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are both on top of their games right now. The end of 2017 saw both women finish with strong features on records.
