Cash Money singer, Jacquees recently tweeted that he is the best R&B singer in the game not including Chris Brown. Tory Lanez wasn’t feeling this claim. Well, for the most part, we are in the era where you don’t even really have to be able to sing to get on and make it. When Tory replied laughing at Jacquees’ claim, Jacquees responded saying,
“Yo pen pretty dope bro but vocal wise Naaaaaa You R NOT f*ckin wit the kid. @toreylanez you tried it bro, keep hustling.”
Hey maybe this is good for R&B. Maybe we need a little bit of healthy competition and ego, because these guys can’t sing for shhhhhh these days. You know your Tory’s and Bryson’s aren’t the strongest vocally. The possession and appreciation of true vocal ability seem to be a thing of the past. It almost feels like R&B is almost a defunct genre with the exception of a few artists. In your opinion, who is the best R&B singer in the game?
