Afroman’s Ohio home was subjected to a police raid in August 2022 that resulted in the local police department filing a lawsuit against him.
The artist says he will keep fighting and has turned the traumatic incident into art.
The “Because I Got High” rapper explained his side of the story in a lengthy Instagram post, saying he was offended by Buck’s repeated use of the “n-word.”
“When they sued me, I realized my rap tape had more power than their AR-15 and their sheriff badges,” he tells AllHipHop. “They dropped their guns. They crying. I’m beating these cops up.”
Several officers sued Afroman after he used footage of them raiding his home for music videos and merchandise.
The artist called the deputies “criminals,” in his response to the lawsuit.
