Jeezy explains what he new talk show will be about!

Denzel Washington once said, “A wise woman knows the importance of speaking life into her man. If you love him: believe in him, encourage him and be his peace.” No one knows this more than Trap rapper Jeezy.

Jeezy has recently become engaged to Jeannie Mai, co-host for The Real, and now Mr. “Trap or Die” will take his hood philosophy to a new Fox Soul talk show called Worth a Conversation with Jay ‘Jeezy’ Jenkins.

In celebration of his 43rd birthday on September 28th, he took to Instagram to make the announcement:

“Happy G Day To Me. Another year, Another endeavor. “It has been my passion and my drive to inspire, motivate and educate my culture. Every song I’ve ever written, every word I’ve uttered came from a real place and this is no different. Worth A Conversation, is self-explanatory. I will talk about issues that directly affect my culture and its people. From the front porch conversations to real life situations Worth A Conversation is bridging the gap. My own show, starting Oct 14th 7pm PST 10Pm EST I’m excited to be a part of the FOX Soul family and can’t wait to introduce you to Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins. #WorthAConversation @foxsoul

Billboard shares that it will be a weekly show that will feature conversations about “a variety of issues that impact the Black community, such as the current social climate, sports, entertainment, and of course, politics.”

Jeezy told the music trade bible, “It has been my passion and my drive to inspire, motivate, and educate my culture.”

Jeezy’s, who is now known as Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins, new weekly show, will air on Fox Soul starting Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. ET.
