Keith
Murray, who spent three years in prison for allegedly
hitting a man over the head with a bar stool, is now a free
man. Murray left the Maple Street House in Bridgeport Connecticut
on Monday and went to New York to spend time with his family.
Keith Murray
was very visible during his incarceration, releasing It’s
A Beautiful Thing in 1999, as well as an upcoming appearance
on Redman’s latest album, Malpractice. Rallies were
also staged while Keith was incarcerated, attracting people
from Busta Rhymes to Britney Spears, who showed up to support
Murray, who has maintained his innocence since the event
occurred in 1995.
Sources stated
that Keith Murray was going to start recording immediately
and sign to Def Jam Records.
