The Black Eyed Peas are working hard to promote

their newest endeavor, Elephunk, by hitting the road for a grueling tour.

"We love going on the road and touring,"

group member will i. am said. "We’re always asking the record company,

‘What tours are we doing this summer this fall? School’s getting ready to start

back. Kids are going to college. We doing the college tour? It’s Spring Break,

what we doing for Spring Break? People out there. They go to shows. What shows

we got?’ That’s something that we’re always on demand about."

In addition to opening shows for Christina Aguilera

and Justin Timberlake, the group, now a quartet due to the recent addition of

female member Fergie, will also embark on a club tour.

On some dates the group will do shows; one opening

and one headlining at a local club.

Elephunk features appearances from Justin

Timberlake, Papa Roach and Blink 182 drummer Travis Brake. The album is the

group’s first release since 2000’s Bridging The Gap.
