A 17-year-old was
arrested early this morning (Feb. 24) for shooting and wounding seven people outside
a Pompano Beach, FL strip club, shortly after rapper Trina arrived for a scheduled
appearance. According
to Broward County police, a fight broke out inside of the Synn City nightclub,
shortly after Trina arrived. One
shot was fired inside of the club during the fracas, before several people connected
to the fight were removed from the club. The
shooting continued, when additional shots were fired at the club from the outside.
Two
security guards were shot and three other males were injured and treated for their
injuries at the North Broward Medical Center. Two
other gunshot victims went from the club to the hospital on their own, bringing
the total number of victims shot to seven. The
17-year-old shooter was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm in public.
He was also sought on two previous warrants for battery.According
to police, officers have been called to Synn City several times over the past
six months for disturbance calls, one robbery, one battery and one shooting.
