The Third Annual World B-Boy Championships and Urban Arts Festival will be held in Incheon, South Korea, in conjunction with the Korean Tourism Organization, and the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, R16, from September 25th through the 27th.

Produced by Cartel Creative with art directions from noted visual artist Brent Rollins, R16 is a celebration of Hip-Hop, urban art, and contemporary youth culture.

The event, which will be broadcasted on multiple television channels across the world, invites world-class B-Boys (Ken Swift), MCs, graffiti writers and DJs to gather in Korea for three days of competition, art and design showcases and global camaraderie.

“R16 is committed to growing the Hip-Hop culture by providing artists and audiences a forum as a multi-cultural celebration,” says Charlie Shin, founder of Cartel Creative.

The festival culminates on September 25th in a 16 crew B-Boy Performance Battle followed by the highly anticipated B-Boy Crew Battle on September 26th and a full-blown Hip-Hop concert on September 27th featuring Rakaa of Dilated Peoples, local Hip-Hop icons Drunken Tiger, and Epik High.
