For the second season of the nation’s only true TV show dedicated to the art and competition of DJing, “Masters of the Mix” legends like Just Blaze and Kid Capri, alongside other DJs like Rich Medina and DJ Scratch, have come together to deliver a one-of-a-kind visceral experience to viewers at home.
AllHipHop.com caught up with judges Kid Capri and Amber Rose during a press day for the show and got their thoughts on “Masters of the Mix,” and what they’re looking for as judges. We also asked them about the changing landscape of DJing.
Check out both videos below before the season premiere on November 5 at midnight on BET:
While Just Blaze holds down hosting duties, judges Amber Rose, Vikter Duplaix, and Kid Capri will be lending both their praises and criticisms to the contestants who are competing for a grand prize of $250,000. “There are a ton of talented DJs out there looking for more ways to showcase their work,” says host Just Blaze. “They deserve the kind of recognition that the show will hopefully give them,” he adds.
The 2nd Season of “Masters of the Mix” airs Wednesdays at 10:30PM on BET.
