Maybach Music Group’s (MMG) first lady and New Orleans native, Teedra Moses, has released the official video for her new single “Another Luvr” featuring labelmate, Wale.

Directed by PhilTheGod (Common’s “Celebrate”, “Raw”), the highly effective visual takes us on a journey into the romantic life of Moses, offering us intimate shots and lots of wine-sipping. The video opens up with the sultry Moses walking into the hotel room, as Wale, appropriately dressed up in his finest garments, spits his verse. The bassline will be familiar to Hip-Hop heads – it’s the same one from A Tribe Called Quest’s classic track “Excursions” from 1991’s The Low End Theory.

In an interview in early 2011, Moses revealed that her signing to MMG stemmed from a conversation with Rick Ross via Twitter. This is the first announced studio album since her 2004 album debut Simple Complexity. Due to her former label, TVT Records, filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and now defunct, Moses began to independently release mixtapes, the latest being Summer 2011’s Luxurious Undergrind.

“Another Luvr”, which appears on Luxurious Undergrind, is now the first single off her album, The Lioness, scheduled for a 2012 release.
