(AllHipHop News) Rapper and reality television star Lil Scrappy’s Gru$tle Gang Records has found a new distribution home for his next project. Scrappy signed a deal with Chinga Chang Records and Sony Entertainment to release his third studio album Reparations.
“Partnering with Chinga Chang Records is the best move I’ve made since I entered the Hip-Hop game, period!” says Scrappy. “Reparations reflect the maturity and wisdom I’ve learned from being in this industry.”
The upcoming LP will be the Atlanta resident’s first since dropping 2012’s The Gru$tle. That album was released independently after Scrappy and Def Jam Records parted ways.
Up next Scrappy will be sending the singles “They Hate Me” and “Juicy On My Mind” to radio and digital retail stores on December 5th. He will also be rejoining the cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta for season three in January.
Reparations is scheduled for release in spring 2014.
