(AllHipHop News) Earlier this week, PBS aired an episode of Soundbreaking titled “The World Is Yours.”

The 52-minute documentary explores the beginnings and the evolution of rap music and the art of sampling.

Hip Hop visionaries such as RZA, Questlove, Chuck D, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Q-Tip, and others make appearances in the doc.

The eight-part Soundbreaking series explores the art of music recording and offers a behind-the-scene look at the creation of brand new sounds.

Other episodes include “The Art of Recording” (covering the greatest record producers of all time) and “I Am My Music” (covering various audio formats such as LPs and mp3s).
