Original No Limit Lineup Launches Reunion Tour

Reunited for the first time since the late 90’s, original No Limit recording artists Mia X, Mr. Serv-On, Mo B Dick, KLC and Fiend have confirmed a multi-city reunion tour for the winter 2008 season.

Christened the War Games tour, the selected concert dates will give long time fans their first opportunity in years to reconnect with key members from one of southern Hip-Hop’s pivotal movements.

In addition, the artists are anticipating using the tour as a springboard to reestablish No Limit as a viable brand in 2008’s Hip-Hop market.

“This tour is long overdue,” remarked Mr. Serv-On to AllHipHop.com. “We owe this tour to our fans.”

Founded by then known Percy “Master P” Miller in 1991, No Limit Records to date has sold more than 75 million records worldwide.

Utilizing production from Beats By the Pound and a business model that emphasized pushing new albums nearly every month, No Limit was instrumental in providing a blueprint for labels such as Cash Money, and illuminating major label attention on southern rappers as potential national stars.

While dates have not been finalized, cities verified for the tour include Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Memphis, Nashville, Atlanta, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Jackson (Mississippi).

THIS IS AWESOME NEWS, I USED TO LOVE NO LIMIT.  BUT - Can ego's be pushed to the side for more talent to appear?  Say Kane & Abel, Snoop (Highly doubt he will take part in this tour), Magic, Silkk, P, C Murder(if he and the court can work something out... highly doubtful), IT REALLY SUCKS about Soulja Slim, MAC, and Mystikal... and I highly doubt this is an actual "NO LIMIT RECORDS" endorsed "reunion" tour if "P. Miller" aint on the lineup.  And, Im sorry P, but the people who grew up listening to these aforementioned rappers  back 8-11 years ago, we do NOT want to see ROMEO on stage rockin wit ya'll.  What about Skull Duggrey, Gambino Family, and Ghetto Commision?  I'm sure they could use any kind of income they can find... yet (And dont forget, I used to be a huggge NL fan) they will probably sell LESS tickets having those dudes being listed as part of the lineup...

That's a  time period thru my high school years 9th grade 2 Freshman year in college.I'm from Mississippi & would be in Jackson in a heartbeat 4 the show. No limit soldiers I thought I told ya. Damn I wish Mac & soulja slim & big Ed could be there. O yeah top 5 No limit cd's

    2. C- Murder Lide or Death
    3. Fiend-There's one in every family
    4. Mystikal-Unpredictable/Master P-Ice Cream Man
    5. Master P-Ghetto Dope/Mac-Shell Shocked
    Fuck it, Top 10.
    6. Silkk-Charge it 2 Da game
    7. Down South Hustlers/I'm Bout it Soundtrack ( top 5 all-time soundtrack)
    8. Master P-Last Don
    9. Mia X-Unlady Like (Mia is one of the top 5 greatest female mc's period.)
    10. Silkk-The Shocker/Mr. Serv-On - life Insurance/Kane & Abel-Am I my Brother's Keeper?
Now who's fuckin wit that list??? O yeah Young Bleed's My Balls & My word was off the chain 2. But Bleed was neva on No Limit per say, He was wit C-Loc & the concentration camp( The Niggaz that had Lil' Boosie when he was like 13 or 14 from Baton rouge.)  & they did a joint thang to get bleed some exposure, so he really never signed to N.L. But that most definitely was a great album as well. Mississippi's Finest    M.O.B.

Without question No Limit had more hot ablums, No Limit Dropped more ablums in 97 than cash money has dropped in 10 years just being real.  Cash Money get more love in Louisiana because it was more authentic New Orleans, P and No Limit was a little more commerical back in the 90's.  Call me crazy, and most will not know what I'm talking about but still today when I think of Cash Money I first think of Pimp Daddy, UNLV, Lil Doogie (B.G. Prior to the name change), and Cheeky Black.  "Twerk somethin nigga"
