RUMORS UPDATE!
FINALLY: A JAY-Z / NAS ALBUM?
Is this a case of too little, too late? There are new rumors coming out saying that Nas and Jay have decided to do what we all said they should have done years ago: do an album together. According to the Daily News, the album is called the Kings of Hip-Hop and it will be on Jay-Z Carter Music Group, a label that doesn't exist at press time. Anyway, they say this album will drop early next year. No confirmations, but what do you think? I think we will see a bunch of older rappers upset at the title like when Cedric The Entertainer and 'Nem called themselves the "Kings of Comedy."

LLOYD BANKS’ PORN FRIEND – A RACIST?
This is actually pretty funny to me, so don’t take it too seriously. Apparently, G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks has a porn star buddy named Taylor Rain. Now, she has never done a adult film with a Black man and will never in her life ever do an interracial scenes. From what I hear, this is her father rearing his head. Daddy isn’t into that interracial stuff. I don’t necessarily think they are racist though. What IS strange, is that Rain has allegedly admitted to sexing Lloyd Banks, which is slightly different that her on camera work. Why off camera, but not on camera? Is that just hypocritical or racist or just…strange? This is even stranger. Rain apparently was going to college to be a flight attendant (a BA in Flight Attendance?) and decided to just go into porn instead after the September 11 attacks.
BADU SAYS THE PRESS LIED ON HER?
I’m not sure what the VH-1 Soulstage was, but Badu was at one recently and she refuted quotes recently attributed to her. Here is the quote in question: "It is true what they say about me and men - (I) make them wear crocheted pants and chin guards!" Dispellingg the quote, she said, "Don't believe what you hear in the press because it's usually bulls**t, except what they say about me making men wear crochet pants and change gods!"
I bet that quote is fake too.
SAY IT'S NOT TRUE: PROFESSOR GRIFF’S HOUSE BURNED DOWN?
Well, I think this is true, even though I haven’t gotten any concrete info from a reputable source. But, a couple weeks ago, Professor Griff of Public Enemy suffered the loss of his home in Atlanta. He was not in the house at the time, but there was a massive explosion caused by a gas leak. According to what I have been told, he lost 90% of all this things, including a musical studio, books, clothes, pictures and other personal items.

I am getting word that Amy Winehouse has gotten an ultimatum. Universal has reportedly given her the final word to dump all the drug dealers and scumbags in her crew. I heard she even got rid of her hairdresser, the person that makes her beehive hairdo! They are saying that all these people are too much of a negative influence on Amy and she’s trying to get better.

I guess I will give him a shout out. He was a star in films like The Client and Ghost World. He died of an accidental overdose.
