(AllHipHop News) Rapper Jay-Z and his Roc Nation Sports business are preparing to square up in court over boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux.

According to the New York Daily news, a company named Caribe Promotions filed a lawsuit against Jay and Roc Nation Sports claiming they are trying to steal Rigondeaux from the company.

Guillermo Rigondeaux will fight Vasyl Lomachenko this weekend.

According to Caribe Promotions, Jay-Z and Roc Nation have violated their agreement to co-promote the boxer.

Instead, Roc Nation allegedly refused to hand over any “financial and promotional aspects” of this weekend’s fight.

And, Roc Nation is refusing to give Caribe Promotions credit for representing the boxer in association with Roc Nation.

The two companies were already in arbitration, according to the New York Daily News, however the issue will not be resolved before the fight.

Caribe wants a judge to issue an emergency ruling, and order Roc Nation to allow them to to act as co-promoter of the event.
