recuperating from an incident during a traffic incident in upstate New York on

Dec. 23 and is refusing to press charges against the driver of a truck that struck

the rapper, breaking his leg. Styles

P., born David Styles, was driving his 2003 Mercedez-Benz on Saw Mill River Road

in upstate New York, when he was cut off by 50-year-old John Henson, of Connecticut.

The

rapper exited his vehicle and allegedly threw napkins at Henson’s truck. When

Henson appeared in Town Court on Tuesdsay (Jan. 2), he explained that the entire

ordeal was an accident. "I

didn’t know if he had a gun or something else he was going to throw at me,"

Henson said, adding that he feared for his safety and was "all shook up"

as he attempted to drive away. Henson,

who has five children, was charged with second-degree assault. He spent Christmas

day in jail and was released when he posted $1500 bail.He

said he was suspended from his trucking job over the incident and is currently

falling behind on his mortgage. Sources

stated that certain officials in the City of Greenburgh are appalled that the

rapper is refusing to press charges against Henson’s intentional act of violence.Henson’s

next court date was slated for Jan. 26.Styles

P. was forced to cancel a series of scheduled concerts to promote his critically

acclaimed album, Time Is Money, which hit stores Dec. 19. The

rapper’s concert dates will be filled by fellow Lox members Sheek Louch and Jadakiss.
