(AllHipHop News) Joyce Yolanda Storch, mother of producer Scott Storch, has gone public with her disappointment over her son’s alleged lack of financial support. Several years ago, Scott Storch was one of the industry’s most sought after producers, creating chart-toppers for Beyonce, Chris Brown, and 50 Cent. By 2006, his catalogue was estimated to be worth $70 million. The success came crashing down through cocaine abuse and excessive spending, such as purchasing a $20 million dollar yacht, $3 million dollar jewelry pieces, and $1.7 million Bugatti Veyron. Even though her son’s fortune is now gone due to numerous lawsuits, judgments, and a bankruptcy filing, Yolanda Storch feels disappoint that her son didn’t provide financial support. “Scott always told me he had plans to do certain things for the family,” she told The Miami New Times in an interview slated to be printed tomorrow. “But then I guess things got bad before he got around to it. I read about all these other rappers’ mothers — P. Diddy’s mother, Kanye West’s mother, Jay-Z’s mother. Their sons all took care of them,” Joyce Storch said of her son.Scott Storch is currently recovering from his drug addiction and is working with Dr. Dre on his upcoming, often-delayed album, Detox. Additionally, Storch produced “Shutter Bug,” the first single off of Big Boi’s upcoming solo album Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty.Storch was supposed to participate in the interview for the Miami New Times’ article, but canceled, when the paper refused to remove the references to his mother.
