MMG’S WALE TALKS NEW ALBUM & SETTLING ISSUES WITH MEEK MILL

(AllHipHop News) Wale called The Russ Parr Morning Show to discuss his upcoming project The Album About Nothing. While speaking with the radio program’s co-hosts, Wale was asked about Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross’ role in settling his recent social media spat with fellow MMG artist Meek Mill.

“[Ross] was high,” said Wale. “He gonna come in that joint smelling like a tree trunk. But that’s how he is though. He was just like, ‘Man, what? We ain’t talking bout this right now.’”

The DMV representative then expressed how it was unfortunate the two rappers got into that public argument two days before Meek went to jail. Wale says he has not had the chance to speak with Meek since he has been incarcerated, but they were able to connect through other people.

“I actually did a song with his cousin, his best friend,” revealed Wale. “And I even poked fun at Meek and me arguing on the record. It’s all good. I think he comes home in late September, so it’s all good on all sides.”
