“This album means a whole lot to me, and I know the real fans out there, it means a whole lot to them too,” says Wayne. “I refuse to cheat them and just give them anything rushed.”
The Young Money boss then explains he recorded over 30 songs, so he and his team had to figure out a way to get all the tracks to the public. To solve the issue, Wayne decided to split the project into two parts.
“The first part of the album will be dropping December 9,” reveals Weezy. “Stay tuned for the next part of the album. It’s gonna be crazy. I worked too hard. You’re gonna love it.”
At the end of the video Wayne previews the single “Gotti” from the forthcoming Tha Carter 5 album that features The Lox. He later released the entire track.
