(AllHipHop News) Reports began circulating that Bobby Shmurda’s uncle and manager Debo Wilson attempted to steal $20,000 from the young entertainer. According to Bossip, the uncle also filed a $1 million lawsuit against Shmurda because Wilson was being hit with legal complaints from promoters claiming his client cancelled scheduled concert dates.

“The reason why Bobby’s uncle is suing is because the promoters are trying to sue him,” a former business partner of Wilson told the website. “He doesn’t have the money. Bobby has the money.”
Wilson connected with VladTV to address the news stories, but he also took the opportunity to call out Bobby’s current industry handlers and other artists who he feels have abandoned the 20-year-old since he was incarcerated in December.
“We always was there for him. We put him in the right direction,” said Wilson. “When we left him, his s**t’s been going down hill. He got all the d**k riding n***as in the industry that runs around behind him. They’re not trying to help him. All they’re trying to do is live off his fame. Now he’s locked up. Where all those artists at? Where they at?”
The conversation also included Wilson claiming other artists were giving his nephew drugs and driving him toward negativity. The co-founder of Hard Tymes Records accused individuals at Bobby’s label of trying to break him away from his family and promote the gang lifestyle.
Wilson added he would never sell his soul to be successful in the music business like other people associated with the industry. For him, the goal should be to help young people get away from the streets and make a difference in their lives.

When it comes to the allegations that he and his brother took 20 grand from Shmurda, Wilson says he has already proven that was untrue. He then took aim at the media for reporting the story. Wilson called out DJ Funkmaster Flex in particular.
“When I got motherf**kers like Funk Flex saying I’m shady, now I gotta say something,” Wilson stated. “P***y n***a, you don’t know me, so don’t be calling me shady. Simple as that.”
Wilson believes Bobby’s current legal issues are the result of him being around the wrong people. He was unable to provide an update on his nephew, because Shmurda refuses to speak with him. Despite the distance, Wilson said he still loves his nephew.
