While in Lousiville, Kentucky this weekend for  WDRB’s Hoop It Up basketball tournament, No Limit CEO, Former NBA player, and longtime entrepreneur, Master P, made a special stop.
He visited the home of Ki’Anthony Tyus.

Ki’Anthony was shot at a local park while playing a game of basketball. He was discharged from the hospital on Sunday.

Master P says the 9-year-old wanted to speak to him on the phone, but instead, he surprised him with a visit to his house with a new pair of basketball sneakers to hoop in when he recovers from his injury.

“I got kids in my family that’s dead or incarcerated at a young age, and we’re here to help the kids,” Master P said. “And we hope we can change this and let this be an example  that we’re killing our kids, and it’s our future”

I wish a speedy recovery to Ki’Anthony, and I salute Master P for never forgetting where he came from.
