The Weeknd’s “Beauty Behind The Madness” Projected To Open With Big First Week Sales

THE CANADIAN VOCALIST IS LOOKING TO HAVE ONE OF THE BEST OPENINGS OF THE YEAR

(AllHipHop News) The Weeknd is having a monster 2015. Three of the Canadian singer’s singles reached the Top 5 on the Hot 100 this year, and now Hits Daily Double is predicting his new album Beauty Behind The Madness will open with big sales numbers.

According to the industry website, Beauty is currently projected to push 385,000 – 410,000 SPS units. The LP totaled over 21 million streams on Spotify in the first four days and has already reached number one on iTunes in 68 territories around the world.

The hit records “Earned It,” “The Hills,” and “Can’t Feel My Face” along with a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards have helped The Weeknd gained widespread national exposure. The 25-year-old R&B star collected Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey as guest features for Beauty Behind The Madness.
