Those estimates will be three times the amount of sales his previous album achieved in its first week. Back in 2011, Follow Me Home came out the gate with 5,300 units sold.
However, Jay Rock is headed toward lower numbers than recent releases from his Black Hippy comrades. Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly opened with 324,000 units, Schoolboy Q’s Oxymoron opened with 139,000, and Ab-Soul’s These Days... opened with 21,812.
