(AllHipHop News) For two decades Hip Hop fans have wondered who The Notorious B.I.G. was rapping about on his song “I Got A Story To Tell.” The cut off 1997’s Life After Death told the tale of Biggie sleeping with a New York Knick player’s lover and later robbing the basketball star in his own home.

Fellow NYC emcee Fat Joe stopped by ESPN’s Highly Questionable, and the Terror Squad member confirmed the person at the center of the mystery.
“It was about Anthony Mason, rest in peace,” said Joe. “That was the… you know… It was about An Mason. An Mason’s my brother. I love An Mason.”
He continued, “You gotta also know that this is entertainment, so we stretch the truth. We change things up.”
Fat Joe then stated that it was a well known rumor that B.I.G.’s “I Got A Story To Tell” was about the late NBA All-Star.
