(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar just unveiled the third capsule collection with Reebok under a deal promoting the brand’s “Classic” line.
Kendrick teamed with Ian Paley of Garbstore to design a sneaker that is supposed to represent the difficulties the rapper has faced in his life.
The rapper signed a deal with Reebok in December of 2014. Since then, his sneakers have featured a blue and white colorway to represent unity amongst Crips and Bloods.
According to Reebok:
“The seam is a metaphor for the major decisions he has been forced to make – from championing gang neutrality throughout his upbringing to using his artistry to make a difference in his own community and the world over.”
The Reebok x Kendrick Lamar “Classic Leather” will be available Friday, July 1. The sneaks will cost $109.99 for adults.
