Kendrick Lamar Performs At The White House For 4th Of July Celebration (VIDEO)

WATCH K. DOT RUN THROUGH SEVERAL OF HIS HITS IN DC

(AllHipHop News) President Barack Obama celebrated America’s birthday with the annual July 4th party. The POTUS honored military veterans and their families with a concert special in the White House’s East Room.

TDE emcee Kendrick Lamar and singer-songwriter Janelle Monáe were tapped to perform. Lamar ran through several of his hits including “Money Trees,” “Swimming Pools (Drank),” “B-tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe,” and “Alright.”

K. Dot and Monáe assisted the Commander-In-Chief in singing happy birthday to Malia Obama as well. The First Daughter turned 18 years old on July 4.

Previously, Kendrick met with the President to discuss the My Brother’s Keeper program. Obama also named the Compton native’s “How Much A Dollar Cost” off the To Pimp A Butterfly album as his favorite song of 2015.
