(AllHipHop News) Drake clapped back at Hot 97 and Funkmaster Flex last night (August 6) during an after party for his “Summer Sixteen” tour in New York.
Drake took over the DJ booth at Space Ibiza in Manhattan and took a veiled swipe at Hot 97.
“It’s all love out here in New York City,” Drake said during a set by Dj Self and DJ S####.
“Ima let you know you’re rocking with DJ Self and DJ S####. This ain’t that other weak s##t, this that real s##t,” Drake told the crowd “This where you supposed to be tonight, this the real New York.”
Dj Self is a popular personality on rival Power 105.1, a station Flex has publicly beefed with.
Earlier in the evening, Funk Flex roasted the OVO leader on his radio show by claiming that Drake leaked his own reference tracks, along with longstanding allegations that the Toronto rapper doesn’t write his own rhymes.
