(AllHipHop News) Actor/comedian Ricky Harris passed away Monday at the age of 54.
A heart attack has been reported as the cause of death.
Harris appeared in movies with 2Pac (Poetic Justice) and Snoop Dogg (Murder Was The Case).
His filmography includes roles on Moesha and Everybody Hates Chris.
Harris was also part of the cast of This Christmas and Dope.
In addition, he voiced characters on albums by Snoop, Tha Dogg Pound, and Ice Cube.
Snoop addressed the death of his friend on Instagram.
“I lost one of my dear friends today, Ricky Harris,” said Snoop in the IG video. “A lot of y’all may know him as the comedian, but he was a dear friend of mine.”
He continued, “Rickey Harris, rest in peace. Long Beach original.”
Other Hip Hop figures paid tribute to Harris on social media as well.
