Chance the Rapper Leads Celebrities In Retweeting MLK’s “I Have A Dream” Speech

CELEBRITIES GATHER ON TWITTER FOR MLK DAY

(AllHipHop News) Today (January 15) is Martin Luther King Jr. day and as expected, a number of influential politicians, celebrities and others hit the social media platform to share their thoughts on the late civil rights leader.

People like President Obama, Representative John Lewis, MC Hammer, Ciara, 2 Chainz, Young M.A., Rick Ross, Talib Kweli, and other notables posted tributes to Dr. King, who was born on this day in 1929.

Twitter itself celebrated by launching a #MLK emoji, which can be activated by using hashtags like #MLK, #IHaveADream, #MLKDay, #MartinLutherKingJr, and
#MartinLutherKing

But most interestingly, Twitter gathered 15 celebrities to each Tweet a line from the Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech.

Artists like common, Alicia Keys, Shonda Rimes, Lee Daniels, Jennifer Lopez and Sean “Diddy” Combs were among the participants.
