(AllHipHop News) Reports have been circulating that 50 Cent is no longer on the bill for Chris Brown’s “The Party Tour.”
TMZ now claims to know why 50 will not be taking part in the trek.
According to the website, the two artists’ camps were in talks about the tour and it was assumed 50 would accept the terms of the deal.
Apparently, when it was time to close the deal, the Queens rapper and live-events company Live Nation were “hundreds of thousands of dollars apart.”
Despite the dispute, 50 was still promoted as part of the tour.
The G-Unit leader reportedly walked away from negotiations two weeks ago.
“The Party Tour” is scheduled to hit Baltimore, Maryland today (March 31).
Fabolous, O.T. Genesis, and Kap G are set to be opening acts.
UPDATE:
50 Cent responded to the TMZ article on his Instagram page.
“I would never say my friends can’t afford me. This run wasn’t handled correctly, I’m still on set filming Den of Thieves,” wrote 50.
