Adam “Pacman” Jones Arrest Streak Continues

Adam Pacman Jones

Pacman Jones was arrested for public intoxication and assault, continuing a troubling pattern of post-NFL legal issues.

Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested early Saturday (June 7) in Covington, Kentucky.

Police say the former NFL cornerback was intoxicated in public and became physically aggressive during an encounter with law enforcement.

According to the Covington Police Department, Jones, 41, was taken into custody just before 2 a.m. and booked on three charges: alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct and assault of a police or probation officer.

Pacman Jones was released later that morning, around 11:30 a.m., after posting a $10,000 bond.

The arrest adds to a growing list of legal run-ins for the ex-Cincinnati Bengals standout, who has faced multiple charges since retiring from the NFL.

This latest incident marks at least his fourth arrest in the past four years.

In 2023, Jones was arrested at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening.

The year before that, he was booked in Arlington, Texas, for public intoxication and assaulting a peace officer.

Back in 2021, he pleaded no contest to two counts of misdemeanor assault after a bar fight in Cincinnati, serving 18 days in jail.

Jones, who played 12 seasons in the NFL, has struggled with off-field issues throughout his post-football life. Details surrounding Saturday’s arrest have not yet been released by authorities.
