Rap trio Migos certainly had an eventful third quarter as they leveled up with Mr. West.
While on stage at New York’s Highline Ballroom, Kanye West announced that he has added Tyga and Migos to his G.O.O.D. Music imprint.
The Atlanta rappers revealed that their ‘Culture’ album and collaborative mixtape with Rich The Kid, ‘Streets On Lock 5’, were both on the way during an interview with AllHipHop.com on the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet.
Migos also brought a little more clarity to their recent deal with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music Label by revealing that their career would now be overseen by G.O.O.D. Music’s management division, but they are still signed to the Quality Control (QC) label.
“QC the label little management situation with G.O.O.D you know. We all together though,” Migos stated.
As far as their opinion on ghostwriting, Migos say they don’t use ghostwriters so they haven’t formed an opinion on the topic.
“We don’t do it so we don’t really have a say so on it. If that’s what you want to do, whatever floats your boat,” said Migos.
Migos stated that they are “the culture”, so we are patiently waiting for the release of their two latest projects that were slated for release last month.
The BET Hip Hop Awards air tonight at 8P/7C on BET!
