The Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival events begin this Wednesday (July 8th) with “The Hip-Hop Institute” at Medgar Evers College. But, before the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival became the premiere Hip Hop festival for Brooklyn, it was a thought in the head of Brooklyn Bodega founder Wes Jackson while visiting New Orleans.
