(AllHipHop News) BET has announced the first confirmed performers for the 2013 edition of their annual Hip Hop Awards. Black Hippy members Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, and Jay Rock will be among the artists hitting the stage for the event. Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz will also perform as well as Bad Boy recording artist French Montana.

Along with performances during the show, viewers will get to see some of the biggest stars in rap music join with some of the hottest buzzing underground talent for the BET Cyphers. That night Hip Hop legend MC Lyte will also be honored with the “I Am Hip Hop Award.”

The BET Hip Hop Awards, hosted by Snoop Dogg, will air October 15th at 8 pm.
