(AllHipHop Rumors) Rick Ross may have lost his bout with protesters, but Tyga will continue to perform at Harvard University’s Yardfest despite opposition.

The rapper will perform today as originally scheduled, even though there was a 2,000 person petition in circulation again his inclusion in the annual event.

The YMCMB rapper’s detractors said his songs contained “violently misogynistic lyrics.”

The Harvard Concert Commission and College Events Board made the ultimate decision to keep Tyga.

Tyga is a Grammy-nominated rapper that recent released Hotel California, his first album.

Neither Tyga or his reps have commented on the controversy.
