SZA On Deluxe Version Of ‘Ctrl’ Album: Never Said The Deluxe Was Dead

(AllHipHop News) It has been three years since SZA released her debut studio album Ctrl. Fans of the Top Dawg Entertainment songstress have been patiently waiting to get a new body of work.

On Monday afternoon, SZA took to Twitter to suggest she may have some unreleased tunes arriving soon. She tweeted, “So like a music dump .. similar to a photo dump but not an album .. this concept make sense to anyone? Has anyone ever done it? Asking for me.”

Eventually, one Twitter user asked SZA about the supposed Ctrl deluxe version. The New Jersey-raised vocalist responded, “It was like a missed text message I felt like too much time passed and it didn’t matter anymore started something new .. I was wrong lol.”

In order to clear up any confusion about the extended edition of her LP, SZA returned to the social media site on Tuesday morning. She posted, “Never said the Deluxe was dead y’all asked what HAPPENED to it lmao I jus said I kept it pushing n never put it out by mistake.”

Doja Cat Addresses Racism In Tinychat Forum During Instagram Live Session

(AllHipHop News) Doja Cat finally reemerged after days of #DojaCatIsOverParty taking over Twitter. Resurfaced footage of the “Say So” hitmaker on Tinychat led to calls for her to be “canceled” over allegedly engaging with known white supremacists on the platform.

At first, Doja released a written statement addressing the matter, but that did not stop #OnlyKlans from trending on Twitter in response. During an Instagram Live broadcast on Monday, she admitted that apology was created with her team in order to protect her brand.

Doja Cat also went on to talk about Tinychat on IG. The 24-year-old performer claimed that she did not knowingly interact with prejudiced individuals on the website.

“I learned that there are racist people who come in and out of the chat. They happen, then they’re banned. The idea that this chat room is a white supremacist chat room  – I don’t understand it in any way,” said Doja. “There is racism that happens across Tinychat, Instagram, and Twitter. This sh*t happens everywhere. It just happens more on Tinychat because it’s not as monitored.”

She continued, “So when you see racist sh*t on Tinychat, it’s because people aren’t paying attention. There are mods that are idle. There was a time where I was a mod and I was able to ban people for actions like that or harassing women. This happens a lot on Tinychat. But Tinychat is a place for everybody.”

Doja added, “I’ve seen it and I know I’ve been targeted by it, and I know that it’s controllable. But the narrative that it’s a white supremacist chat is completely incorrect. It’s absolutely, 100% f*cking incorrect.”

In addition, the Instagram Live included Doja speaking about her controversial song titled “Dindu Nuffin” which refers to a racist term used to mock African-Americans. The Hot Pink creator, a mixed-race woman, also spoke about an old video of her degrading her natural 4c hair which some people interpreted as a form of self-hatred toward her black features.

As far as “Dindu Nuffin,” Doja apologized for using the term and called the record “maybe the worst song in the entire world.” Doja also stated that she loves her hair and her skin color. She said, “I know that I’m beautiful. I love myself.”

Jerome Whitaker – “Twist It” Video

The Michigan rapper recently shared with us the official cartoon video of his newest release.

In the 75s clip, Jerome escapes the police and cruises the ocean blue.

He is not alone on this journey as he ends up discovering his love interest who is actually a mermaid.

He ends up marrying the mermaid and blowing money on her and giving her everything she could ever want. The video gets even more twisted when the ring makes her go from mermaid to human.

Definitely not your usual, that’s for sure. Check out the video below.

Azealia Banks Returns To Earth Claiming To Have Slept With Dave Chappell, Calls Out Nicki Minaj Over Doja Cat

(AllHipHop Rumors) Azealia Banks is back. I do not know what rock she was hiding under or what planet she descended from. But she is back. The one time hitmaker has managed to stir up the pot so much that it is overflowing. First of all she has declared that she slept with Dave Chapelle and goes into pornographic detail about the alleged affair. Now we know Azealia Banks is not the most trustworthy person but that is why this is now in the rumor section and not treated as actual news. In fact, I am not so sure that we would even care if she did not mention Chapelle‘s name.

https://twitter.com/Diaspora_7/status/1264957046216163329

On another note she goes in on Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. She says that they should be commenting on the Doja Cat situation where the singer allegedly a racist. By the way, Doja Cat has denied being an alt-right loving person of color. Anyway, this is where we are in the world and somehow Azealia Banks has managed to get back on our radar without a song to note.

“Nicki, for all that f##king mouth you have for Cardi B for talking s### about Black women, and now you quiet because you got this little number one with this white b####. You a p#### ass b####. Now I’m looking back at it and you was just jealous of Cardi… you was just jealous because she’s got more swag than you,” said Banks.

She didn’t stop there. She continued to berate Nick At Nite for allegedly working with Tekashi 69 after he turned snitch.

“You’re working with Tekashi and Doja Cat and wack b###### like that like what? Trying to put fear in b###### hearts… I’m just very disappointed in you. All that s### you talk about female rap and female this and female that and look at you selling out. You selling out,” she said. WOW.

And of course, the jokes have come in.

Kevin Hart Wants “Cancel Culture” Canceled

(AllHipHop News) Kevin Hart has criticized the unrealistic nature of “cancel culture” and insisted “people deserve a chance to move on.”

The 40-year-old “Jumanji” actor, who was forced to step down from hosting the 2019 Oscars due to a string of unearthed tweets, spoke about what it’s like to be publicly shamed in a chat for O, The Oprah Magazine’s Instagram Live.

Discussing his new audiobook “The Decision,” he blasted “cancel culture” and insisted people need to be more “realistic” about the shortcomings of others.

“What I mean about being realistic is: Nobody’s perfect, nobody’s going to be,” he explained. “We’re living in a time where we’re just expecting perfect, as if people don’t slip and fall down the steps, or everybody walks straight all the time. But you stumble…it’s weird to really hold people at a level that they never asked to be held at.”

Hart added that adults shouldn’t be held hostage due to “childish behavior” from their youth, as they were just “doing the things that a kid is supposed to do.”

“You get to 21, and there’s a celebration of you now being an adult because you spent those years being a kid, 21 to 31, I was a young adult, so I didn’t know what life was going to be like as an adult, so I messed up as a young adult,” he explained. “Although some things are warranted and I understand, it’s just us as people have got to be smart enough to go…you know what, whatever has happened, has happened, but people deserve a chance to move on.”

The “Ride Along” star, who needed extensive spinal surgery for his injuries when a pal lost control of his classic car near his home in California last year will soon be welcoming a baby girl, his fourth child, and second with wife Eniko Hart.

However, referencing his previous troubles he stressed life “isn’t over because people say it is.”

“We need to lose that attitude and feeling and let people grow. People love to talk s##t…people love to be negative, but guess what? They also love to be positive. But we only talk about the negative.”

EXCLUSIVE Big Meech Could Be Released From Prison This Week

(AllHipHop News) Black Mafia Family (BMF) co-founder Big Meech is taking another shot at getting his freedom.

The street legend is serving out a 30-year sentence, after pleading guilty to running a continuing criminal enterprise and conspiring to launder money, in 2007.

In April, Big Meech filed an emergency motion asking the court to reduce his sentence by 11 years and grant his immediate release, due to his elevated risk of catching the coronavirus in FCI Sheridan in Oregon.

On May 5th, Big Meech’s request was denied, but his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory lucked out and was granted an early release over the danger the disease posed to his health.

Big Meech’s lawyers have revealed that the same medical professionals who concluded his brother should be released, also found there was little if any difference between the two brothers.

Medical professionals, including the Division Head of Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit, concluded that Big Meech is at a heightened risk for developing COVID-19, due to his age, hypertension, and other health factors.

Big Meech also cited his stature in the African American Community, which he says will allow him to effect positive change upon release. He even received a co-sign from State Representative Jewell Jones, Deputy Democratic Caucus Chair.

In fact, the Flenory brothers’ life story is about to be dramatized in an upcoming series for Starz being produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.

“Flenory is the first to tell the undersigned, his children, and frankly anyone who will listen that engaging in that life hurt so many people. It fueled addiction, exacerbated poverty, encouraged other crime, and had numerous other deleterious effects,” explained Big Meech’s lawyer Wade G. Fink. “Flenory is now paying the price for it with 30 years of his life…but Flenory is determined, whenever he gets out, to do everything in his power to deter the life he pursued.”

Additionally, Big Meech already has a job lined up with iconic Detroit fashion designer Bassem Souwaiden, known for the Al-Wissam clothing brand.

Souwaiden is prepared to offer Meech a base salary of $45,000 per year and a commission 15% on all sales generated, which could end up being substantial, given his folk-hero status.

Big Meech’s lawyers also filed a second motion to press the government, and a judge has ordered the Feds to respond no later than tomorrow (May 26th).

Over the last few months a variety of celebrity inmates have been released from prison.

Infamous rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, as well as President Donald Trump’s cohorts Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen, and Detroit’s Hip-Hop Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick have all been granted early releases due to the pandemic.

Doja Cat Denies Being A Self-Loathing Racist

(AllHipHop News) Doja Cat has responded to allegations she made racist remarks in the past, insisting in a statement that she has “personally never been involved in any racist conversations.”

The “Say So” star took to her Instagram page on Sunday to set the record straight amid the rumors, which sparked the hashtag #DojaCatIsOverParty trending on Twitter.

“I want to address what’s been happening on Twitter.” she began. “I’ve used public chat rooms to socialize since I was a child. I shouldn’t have been on some of those chat room sites, but I personally have never been involved in any racist conversations. I’m sorry to everyone that I offended.

“I’m a black woman. Half of my family is black from South Africa and I’m very proud of where I come from.”

Another reason Doja had attracted criticism was for her surfaced song “Dindu Nuffin” – a phrase known as a racial slur for black criminals, who claim to be innocent after facing police brutality.

“As for the old song that’s resurfaced, it was in no way tied to anything outside of my own personal experience,” she continued. “It was written in response to people who often used that term to hurt me. I made an attempt to flip its meaning, but recognize that it was a bad decision to use the term in my music.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CAmGIqnjHZP

“I understand my influence and impact and I’m taking this all very seriously. I love you all and I’m sorry for upsetting or hurting any of you. That’s not my character, and I’m determined to show that to everybody moving forward. Thank you.”

Doja, real name Amalaratna Dlamini, has enjoyed huge success with her single “Say So,” which topped the charts in the U.S.

Former LA Dodger, Carl Crawford, Deals With “Heavy Heart” After Double Drowning

(AllHipHop News) Nearly a week ago, ex-Dodger, Carl Crawford, hosted a few guests at his Houston home. Among them were a woman and a young boy who came with her.

According to reports, while Carl was inside, the boy ended up falling into his pool. The woman tried to save him but she, too, drowned.

It was reported that Carl tried to revive both victims before paramedics arrived, but was unsuccessful. Both the woman and the boy were unresponsive by the time paramedics made it to the house. They were later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Taking a few days to process the traumatic event, Crawford has finally spoken.

“My Hearts Heavy. The tragic events that occurred at my home will be with me forever. I’m at a loss for words. I’ve struggled all week to manage my emotions and I keep thinking of the families of those who’ve passed and their grief, I know they have it the hardest,” he shared on Instagram.

The former four-time All-Star LA Dodger, as many of us can imagine, is still trying to cope with the grief of this tragic event that occurred right in his home.

Beenie Man ‘Verzuz’ Bounty Killer Set Memorial Weekend Ablaze!

(AllHipHop News) Verzuz just raised the bar even higher with their IG Live battle between two of Reggae’s biggest stars, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer.

Live from Jamaica, the two icons went head-to-head and it was everything we all expected it to be – and more.

If you’re familiar, the two musical giants of Jamaica once had a longstanding rivalry. For these two to battle it out, let alone be in the same room, was beyond epic.

The battle also marked the first time the two artists competed in person, as quarantine had previous artists competing virtually. While the battle was set for an 8 PM start.

It wouldn’t be a Dancehall/Reggae gathering without the selectors spinning the classics, and warming up the hundreds of thousands of viewers with the best of the best from the genre.

Arriving later than planned, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer finally showed up and both came well prepared. With more than 450,000 people tuned in and no shortage of celebrities – like Rihanna and Usain Bolt chiming in on the live comments section – the showdown went down.

While each artist brought their own dancers to the battle, I’m sure the thousands of viewers and fans, alike, were busting out their best dancehall moves at home.

Whether it was Beenie Man’s “Romie,” or Bounty Killer’s “Living Dangerously,” the vibes were high and apparent from the never-ending stream of comments, and fire emojis.

Not even a brief interruption by police, due to the 8PM curfew issued in Jamaica, shut the Live down, which carried on for another hour. “No no, we not stop now,” said Beenie Man.

As the battle continued, the two OG’s of their genre paid tribute to Hip-Hop with each playing their favorite collaborations.

Beenie Man kicked it off with “Fresh From Yard” featuring Lil Kim, while Bounty Killer jabbed back with “Suicide of Murder” featuring Jeru the Damaja.

Following up, Beenie Man then played his T.I assisted “I’m Serious” as Bounty Killer took us to Queensbridge on “Deadly Zone” featuring Mobb Deep and Big Noyd.

Closing out the Hip-Hop collaborations in the seventh round, Beenie Man fired out his “Compton” record with Guerrilla Black which Bounty responded to with “Hip Hopera” featuring The Fugees.

The battle came to a close in the tenth round. And Beenie Man finally brought out his biggest mainstream hit, “Girls Dem Sugar featuring Mya out.

A tough song to follow, Bounty Killer closed his set of ten hits with “It’s A Party” featuring Cocoa Brovaz.

Regardless of who “won” both Beenie Man and Bounty Killer came out on top. Putting their differences aside and doing it for the culture was the biggest win for all of us.

“This is how we represent the culture. At the end of the day, it’s a musical sport,” Bounty Killer expressed, as he and Beenie Man, ended the two-hour livestream with a sing-a-long to Bob Marley’s “One Love.”

The NBA In Talks To Restart Season In Orlando This Summer!

(AllHipHop News) This morning, the NBA officially announced its plans to restart the 2019-2020 regular season this July!

The League is currently in discussions about hosting all games at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.

“The NBA, in conjunction with the National Basketball Players Association, is engaged in exploratory conversations with The Walt Disney Company about restarting the 2019-2020 NBA season in late July. Our priority continues to be the health and safety of all involved, and we are working with public health experts and government officials on a comprehensive set of guidelines to ensure that appropriate medical protocols and protections are in place,” said Mike Bass, NBA Chief Communications Officer.

For weeks, there had been reports about the NBA utilizing one site, rather than having teams travel to multiple locations, and putting people in danger of exposure to COVID-19.

With its close relationship with The Walt Disney Company, the NBA saw an opportunity.

“The size and infrastructure of Disney World Orlando, one of the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, makes it an ideal site to house all 30 teams in a somewhat controllable environment.” (via NBA.com)

Postponed since March 11th, players, coaches, team owners, and fans, have been eagerly waiting but are aware of the possible health hazards and precautions needed if the season was to start again soon.

There are still many factors to consider and all of it ultimately weighs on NBA commissioner, Adam Silver – with advisement from public health professionals.

Will tests for COVID-19 be readily available?

Will a certain number of fans be able to attend? Will coaching staff be limited on the court? etc. Some certainty still remains but progress is definitely being made.

Rapper 6ix9ine Finally Gets His #1 On Billboard Chart

(AllHipHop News) “I’M BACK AND THEY MAD.”

6ix9ine has made his return to society and makes the above proclamation on his Instagram profile bio.

The bold claim is backed up, however, by the recent performance of his new music release. Currently, “Gooba” has exceeded his previous best, “Fefe” featuring Nicki Minaj, and has earned the rapper his first No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart.

According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, “Gooba” has generated over 55 million streams in the US, alone, closing out its debut week on the 14th of May.

Surely this has made his doubters, and haters, alike, mad, as he says.

6ix9ine joins Megan Thee Stallion and Kid Cudi as the third-straight act to earn their first #1 on the Streaming Songs chart. In addition to the millions of streams, “Gooba” also racked up on digital sales, with over 24,000 downloads, and ranks high on Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 3.

His 2017 release “Gummo” peaked at No. 12 and “Fefe” landed at No. 4, so “Gooba” marks a new milestone for the controversial rapper.

In just under three years, he’s climbed the Billboard Hot 100 and has finally reached the top.

The young artist was struck once, and he succumbed to his injuries today (May 23) at Brooklyn University Medical Center.

“Polo Grounds Music sends our prayers and condolences to the family of KJ Balla, From Nothing Records, and the friends & fans of KJ,” a rep for Polo Grounds said in a statement. “We are devastated by the news of KJs passing and will miss his humor & creativity. It’s hard to say goodbye to someone when your not ready for them to leave you. We will miss you KJ. S.I.P.”

An associate of KJ Balla was also struck three times, but he managed to pull through.

Last month, KJ Balla released a well-received single called “Back-to-Back” featuring Jay Gwuapo.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Wants Sex From Charlamagne After Biden Comments

(AllHipHop News) Tekashi 6ix9ine is the master of trolling, and he’s done it again.

This time, the Brooklyn rapper is grabbing some headlines thanks to Charlamagne’s shocking interview with Presidential hopeful Joe Biden.

During Charlamagne’s interview, the former Vice President caused an uproar when he stated “you ain’t black” if you vote for Donald Trump.

The comments sparked outrage and everyone from Reverend Al Sharpton to President Donald Trump condemned the comments.

Biden issued an apology in an attempt to calm the storm of negative publicity surrounding the remarks.

Most people are talking about the political ramifications for Biden’s comments, but 6ix9ine is thinking about g######.

Back when Tekashi 6ix9ine was facing 40 years in prison for racketeering with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, Charlamagne made some pretty shocking comments too.

Charlamagne vowed to suck Tekashi 6ix9ine’s dick if he beat his case, and 6ix9ine has wasted no time reminding everyone now the Charlemagne is splashed all over news headlines around the world.

Earlier today, Tekashi 6ix9ine posted a clip of Charlamagne making the comments on his Brilliant Idiots podcast.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CAi5I4ZHQ7B

“@cthagod I’ll let you explain this apply your blistex first.”

Charlamagne has already commented on his shocking offer, and he was making the comments in jest because most people thought the rapper will be heading to prison.

And Tekashi 6ix9ine cooperated with the government and received a massive reduction in his prison sentence.

6ix9ine caught a break thanks to the pandemic and was allowed to be released early in April to serve out the rest of his prison term on house arrest.

The Brooklyn rapper has been raising hell ever since he was released.

This Friday (May 29) Tekashi 6ix9ine and supposed to premiere a brand new music video.

Cardi’s fans weren’t short on the commentary and reactions either, especially considering she had been teasing them with snaps and videos since Day 01.

“Cardi talking about 2 more tattoo sessions on IG. But where are the studio sessions?,” one Twitter user wrote before the reveal.
