(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z and Beyonce’s upcoming tour will be so big, the pair can only play in football stadiums.
The power couple just announced their ‘‘On the Run II’’ tour, which will kick off on July 25 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland.
Each concert on the 21-date outing is taking place at a different football stadium, to accommodate the large crowds that are being anticipated.
According to representatives at Fenway Park in Boston, the venue was turned down to host the ‘‘On the Run II’’ date in their city on August 5th.
Instead, entertainment’s richest and most famous couple chose the end zone at Gillette Stadium, since the tour is “specially designed for larger-capacity football stadiums.”
Reports suggest this summer’s international ‘‘On the Run II’’ could take in as much as $200 million.

(AllHipHop News) Snoop Dogg’s venture firm recently closed its first round of funding.
The rap star’s Casa Verde Capital has raised a total of $45 million dollars to invest in early-stage startups focused on the emerging cannabis industry and others outside of the marijuana business.
So far, Snoop’s company has made eight investments and he’s looking to put no less than $1,000,000 into the companies he takes an interest in.
Snoop tapped a business associate named Karan Wadhera – a former executive from Goldman Sachs – to raise the money and oversee Casa Verde Capital’s investments.
“We have a decent-size checkbook and a fairly high profile in this space, so we see a fair amount of inbound,” managing partner Karan Wadhera told TechCrunch. “We also have a strong network among cultivators and retailers and brands in the industry, and we’re constantly leveraging them to find new opportunities.”
Those businesses hoping to secure funding from Snoop to cultivate weed or are involved in dispensaries will be disappointed.
“We’re only focused on the ancillary part of the cannabis industry, so we won’t invest in companies that touch the plants. No dispensaries or cultivators or manufacturers. We’re investing in the picks and shovels,” Karan Wadhera said.

In addition to the free concert by Anderson.Paak, Dr. Dre treated fans to a performance of his classic single “The Next Episode.”
Dre has been in the news the past few weeks, raising fans’ hopes that new music could finally be on the way.
Anderson.Paak has confirmed he has been in the studio with Dre working on material, as did funkster Bootsy Collins in a recent interview.

(AllHipHop News) Wu-Tang clan has partnered with StockX to launch the company’s first “Charity IPO” with the new fundraiser C.R.E.A.M (Charity Rules Everyone Around Me).
The funds will be used to benefit the group’s Wu-Tang Foundation, to fund programs for children from low income, troubled areas.
StockX launched as the world’s first online “stock market of things,” for high-demand consumer products.
The company just launched StockX Charity IPOs, a charity initiative aimed at partnering with the world’s biggest celebrities for the world’s most important causes.
Wu-Tang Clan is the first celebrity group to partner with StockX for a Charity IPO with C.R.E.A.M., which is a play on the group’s classic 1993 single “C.R.E.A.M. (Cash Rules Everything Around Me).”
“Working with StockX makes perfect sense because they have been doing great work in the celebrity charity space for a while,” said Oliver “Power” Grant, Co-Director, Wu-Tang Foundation. “A joint venture like this has the potential to positively expand the foundation’s efforts and reach in communities.”
Starting today (March 13), fans who make a $10 donation on StockX to support C.R.E.A.M. will have the chance to win autographed clothing and accessories from RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, DJ Mathematics, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and U-God.

Coming off the high from his Yellow Durag project, Dougie F returns to offer us another compelling project dubbed, In Your Feelings, again separating himself from the rest of the noise.
When most people think of the phrase, “In Your Feelings” its usual short for when you’re feeling “some type of way,” an emotion commonly intertwined with mixed affections, more often than not with another person.
In Your Feelings the EP is just that, a carefully selected compilation of songs that fit into various moods while transitioning in and out of a relationship. For Dougie F, the meaning is vast – he wants his fans to listen to this project through their own feelings, as there cannot be a right or wrong answer – its however you take the music.
For some, it could be reminiscent of falling in and out of love with a significant other. For others, each individual song can spark a series of feelings one has felt with multiple relationships or people.
“The greatest thing about this project is how each moment is captured. There is a song for every scenario or stage of love you may be in or have experienced,” Dougie F said to media in a statement. “This project takes you on a trip, through the highs and lows, beginning and ends and everything in between of a courtship. Then on the last song it sparks a tenacious curiosity as I open your mind and start all over again.”
The project takes you on a trip and is produced by a host of producers including Lurtz Oliver, Benny X, Critical, Taz Taylor, Junior Chef, Bewill, Ray L and the Blurry Boys.

“I’m not a big fan of “fast fashion” so I created a quality clothing brand that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg,” Dreka Gates said. “I’m one of those people who spend hundreds of dollars on sweats, good t-shirts, basic everyday pieces and while I can’t say that I will stop, I will do it a little less now that I have my own quality pieces to wear.”

(AllHipHop News) A lawyer for Nas could cost the rap star some money, as his ongoing custody battle with his ex-wife Kelis continues.
Kelis lawyer Navid Moshtael filed legal documents claiming the Queen’s rapper’s lawyer called him a “fattie” and a “d##k” on the record, and in front of several clients during a recent deposition.
The allegations were contained in a new legal document Moshtael filed in a custody battle over their son Knight, which seems to have flared back up after the couple reached a settlement in January.
Last month, Kelis filed more legal documents asking a court to increase the $8,000 a month child support bill the rapper currently pays for eight-year-old Knight.

“When I was accepting the Grammy Award I pooped on myself,” he cringed, before quipping, “Keeping it real here at iHeart!”
Chance didn’t elaborate on his dirty tale in the brief interview, which aired on Monday, but he made history at the 2017 Grammy Awards after becoming the first musician to strike gold from solely streaming his songs online for free.
He picked up the honors for Best New Artist, Best Rap Album for Coloring Book, and Best Rap Performance for No Problem at the Los Angeles event.

The “She” hitmaker has released a puzzling statement online suggesting the gigs, which included sets at the Lollapalooza touring festival in Chile, Argentina and Brazil weren’t the right fit.
“im not coming to south america as planned anymore, sucks, i will be there at some point tho, sorry, i know yall was really really looking forward to it, but, uhhh… yeah, sometimes a duck isnt a jean jacket… ill be out there one day, holla,” he wrote.
The rest of the rap star’s U.S. tour is still on, with dates beginning at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on April 11, and including festival performances at Coachella, Boston Calling, and Sasquatch.
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Juelz Santana has been ordered to remain behind bars after surrendering to police for a series of gun charges.
The rapper, real name LaRon James, became a wanted man after fleeing from Newark International Airport on Friday (March 9), when a loaded firearm was allegedly discovered in his bag, beside his ID card, at a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint.
He turned himself in to cops at the Port Authority Police Department in the early hours of Monday (March 12) and was booked for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft, both of which carry a 10-year maximum sentence.
Santana, 36, was also booked for unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of drugs, and on an unspecified federal warrant.
He appeared before Magistrate Judge Joseph Dickson on Monday afternoon, when Santana was remanded in federal custody pending his preliminary hearing on March 26.
Santana was previously convicted of manufacturing and selling drugs in 2013, which bans him from carrying a gun.
(AllHipHop News) Logic has announced a new tour which will combine his last two releases Everybody and “Bobby Tarantino II.”
Logic, who dropped the second installment of the Bobby Tarantino series on Friday (March 9), will hit the road on “The Bobby Tarantino vs. Everybody Tour” starting on June 8th.
Logic will bring newcomers NF and Kyle on the 33-date outing, which will start in Boston and hit major markets like New York, Los Angeles, Philly and Las Vegas before ending on August 3rd in Saint Louis, Missouri.

(AllHipHop News) The full line-up for the 2018 Fader Fort has been revealed. Previously, SOB X RBE, YBN Nahmir, and Mozzy were announced as performers for the three-day showcase. The Austin event will also include other newcomers and established acts.
Hip Hop legend Bun B as well as OVO affiliates BlocBoy JB and OG Ron C will be in Texas for the 17th annual Fader Fort. More artists/DJs are also part of the line-up, and special guests are expected to be disclosed each day of the guest list-only function.

(AllHipHop Rumors) Rapper Lil Pump has been making waves the past few months after the release of his “Gucci Gang” single.
The single would go on to be a platinum release.
“Gucci Gang” was released by Pump’s label at the time, which was Warner Bros. The single seemed to be the first success of many, but legal issues would soon follow.
Lil Pump would soon part ways with Warner Bros. due to issues regarding his contract. Pump, a minor at the time, signed the deal without a guardian present.
The deal was voided due to the nature of the signing and made Lil Pump a free agent.
Pump was courted by DJ Khaled to sign his label and many thought he signed with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records, after later sporting a 1017 chain.
Well it looks like Warner didn’t give up on getting Pump signed and he supposedly signed a new record deal with Warner Bros and the deal is for a reported $8 million.
YG has dropped the visuals for his song “SUU WHOOP.”
The single, which was produced by DJ Mustard and Jordan Holt, is the rapper’s ode to his Blood set and a diss to fake gangbangers worldwide.

According to Wale, It’s Complicated is for “anybody who heart is at odds with the mind.”

Other Twitter users then quickly joined the dispute over whether Mars is guilty of stealing from black culture. Hip Hop producer 9th Wonder took the side of Bruno supporters.

Bruno Mars has been very open about being influenced by black artists. In 2017, he expressed, “When you say ‘black music,’ understand that you are talking about rock, jazz, R&B, reggae, funk, doo-wop, hip-hop, and Motown. Black people created it all. Being Puerto Rican, even salsa music stems back to the Motherland [Africa]. So, in my world, black music means everything. It’s what gives America its swag.”
During his 2018 Grammy acceptance speech for the Album of the Year award, the Hawaii-born singer/songwriter acknowledged New Jack Swing pioneers Babyface, Teddy Riley, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis. Babyface later responded to Mars’ shout out by saying, “I think he’s genius in his approach and one of the best entertainers we’ve had in a very, very long time. I consider Bruno in the same category with Prince and with Michael Jackson.”
