EXCLUSIVE: CMurder Announces Hunger Strike To Protest Angola Prison

(AllHipHop Features) Incarcerated rapper CMurder is among the inmates embarking on a hunger strike at Angola Prison.

According to his Publicist Tammy “Ty” Page, CMurder, born Corey Miller, is using his platform as a well-known rapper to voice the dire conditions going on at Angola.

CMurder is serving a life sentence for the 2002 murder of a 16-year-old named Steven Thomas, inside of a Jefferson Parish nightclub.

In 2009 CMurder was sentenced to life in jail, after winning multiple appeals, when it was revealed that prosecutors bribed witnesses for favorable testimony.

The case went all the way to Louisiana’s Supreme Court, which upheld the conviction, automatically triggering a life sentence in Angola Prison for CMurder.

CMurder’s hunger strike is in protest of Angola Prison, Assistant Warden Barrett Boeker, Warden Darrel Vannoy, The Department of Corrections and James LeBlanc The Secretary of DOC.

“Although, the actual person that fired the gun that night sits in a prison in Georgia and has signed an affidavit with an audio confessing to a separate attorney whom knew nothing of Miller’s case, stating that he, not Miller, is the one that is responsible for the killing and is not associated with Miller,” C-Murder’s publicist Tammy “Ty” Page told AllHipHop.com.

CMurder and other inmates have a long list of complaints against Angola prison officials, who he claims are railroading his release, by preventing him from seeing friends, family, and his attorney.

The rapper claims his Constitutional rights are regularly violated and that physical abuse has been going on for several years inside the prison as well.

CMurder said visitors, including men, women, elderly and kids as young as eight are harassed and some are even subjected to strip searches.

“This has caused an immense amount of frustration and anger due to the fact that there are guards up there that have open pending charges against them for sexual misconduct, sexual abuse, and physical abuse,” Tammy “Ty” Page explained.

The rapper said he’s being targeted by Angola’s Assistant Warden Barrett Boeker.

Boeker was arrested in December of 2016 for second-degree rape at his home on the prison grounds, yet he still holds a high ranking position at Angola.

Miller believes Assistant Warden Barrett Boeker has been retaliating against him over a racial discrimination complaint he filed against this very same warden.

And just earlier this week, a former major at Angola was found guilty of conspiring to cover up the beating of a handcuffed and shackled prisoner.

https://www.nola.com/crime/index.ssf/2018/01/former_major_at_angola_prison.html

The rapper’s publicist said the same abuse happened to CMurder.

“In March 2017, my client was placed in handcuffs for nearly 24 hours in the hole,” Tammy “Ty” Page said. “His hands were so swollen that they had to cut the handcuffs off of him nearing amputation.”

CMurder claims the inmates are on the hunger strike because they are being denied proper healthcare, while being treated inhumanely.

CMurder also made the shocking claim that guards are covering up murders at the hands of guards and listing them as suicides.

Miller’s publicist Tammy “Ty” Page said she believes that speaking out will cause more retaliation to her client.

But Page said this could shed light on the conditions at Angola and possibly help other inmates that do not have a stage to speak out for fear of reprisal.

“I have also reached out to a Civil Rights Attorney Ben Crump and Jarrett Adams, another attorney very familiar with prison conditions,” Page said. “At this point, I fear my client’s safety and well-being during this hunger strike, but something has to be done.”

Check out the letter CMurder’s sent to AllHipHop.com from jury member Geralneigh Bazile, who maintains she was harassed by other jurors for her “not guilty” vote.

And listen to CMurder’s statement in audio about his hunger strike right here.

Boosie and Kevin Gates Squash Beef Could Work Together

(AllHipHop News) Two of the best rappers to ever come out of Baton Rouge may finally be linking up.

In 2018 after a few years of beefing, Lil Boosie and Kevin Gates could be sharing a stage together.

The two men and former collaborators had issues as early as 2009, after the death of Chris “Nussie” Jackson, who was one of five men gunned down by Michael Louding, aka Marlo Mike, allegedly on the orders of Boosie.

Boosie stood trial for hiring Marlo Mike to kill a man named Terry Boyd, but he was acquitted of the murder charge in May of 2012 and never charged in the Nussie killing.

In 2016, members of Boosie’s Bad Azz crew fought with people allegedly associated with Kevin Gates’ Bread Winners’ Association, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Gates, who was recently released from a prison in Illinois after serving nine months over gun charges, could be hitting the stage with Lil Boosie if the B.W.A boss can get permission from his probation officer.

“Just got off the line with @iamkevingates trying to pull it off so he can perform at the #BoosieBash THE CITY NEEDS THIS,” Lil Boosie said. “Say a prayer tonight that he’s allowed to travel ASAP…BIGGEST SHOW LOUISIANA HAS EVER SEEN.”

BOOSIE BASH is Boosie’s hip-hop concert/festival, which he puts on for his hometown.

This year’s lineup For BOOSIE BASH includes N.B.A. Young Boy, YFN Lucci, Blac Youngsta, BWill, Yung Bleu, The Badazz Music Syndicate, Mouse on the Track and others.

BOOSIE BASH takes place on Saturday, March 10th at the F.G. Clark Activity Center (Mini-Dome), Southern University starting at 7:00 p.m.

Tyga Facing Arrest Warrant Over Failure To Pay Damages

(AllHipHop News) Tyga is reportedly facing an arrest warrant over his failure to pay $250,000 in compensation to a fan injured at one of his concerts.

The “Rack City” rapper’s company Tyga Music, LLC, was ordered by a judge to pay damages of $236,000 to Shyanne Riekena in 2016, after she sustained head trauma and back injuries at a concert in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

According to reports, a bench warrant has been issued for Tyga’s arrest due to his failure to show up in court to agree a plan to pay a sum that has increased to more than $250,000 with interest.

Shyanne sued the 28-year-old star in 2015, claiming she was left with a four-inch gash on her head and back injuries when a light stand fell on her at a gig held at The Intersection venue in 2012.

“I know that Tyga has a lot going on right now with other people but my situation happened five years ago so on the list of priority wise I should be taken care of,” Shyanne Riekena said. “This was a big incident, it caused a lot of chaos in my life and it’s been five years, so he needs to take this serious.”

The judgment is one of a string of financial claims made against Tyga, real name Michael Ray Stevenson.

Last March he was ordered to pay $65,000 after failing to appear at a gig and in 2016 he had to settle a $200,000 jewelry debt.

He has also been accused of failing to pay car lease debts and falling behind on child support payments to Blac Chyna, the mother of his five-year-old son King Cairo.

Court Clerk Fired Over Letter Asking Meek For Cash

(AllHipHop News) A female Clerk of a court in Philadelphia has been fired for slipping Meek Mill a note pleading for financial help for her son’s college fees.

Wanda Chavarria recently confirmed that she had made an appeal to Meek during his trial, but insisted Judge Brinkley was unaware of her supposed actions.

The letter asked for money to pay for Chavarria’s son’s tuition to a college in Virginia, a request Meek denied.

Meanwhile, key documents regarding a conversation rapper Meek Mill had with the judge overseeing his probation violation case have reportedly failed to prove the defense team’s allegations of bias.

The incarcerated hip-hop star, real name Robert Williams, was sentenced to two-to-four years behind bars in November, for violating his probation relating to a 2008 drug and gun bust.

His lawyers have been challenging what they insist was a harsh punishment, claiming Pennsylvania trial judge Genece Brinkley made the ruling in spite, after Meek allegedly laughed off her request for a shout-out in a song, and snubbed a suggestion to dump his management team at Jay-Z’s Roc Nation firm and sign with Philadelphia music figure Charlie Mack.

The conversation was said to have taken place in chambers, on the record, and last week, another judge ruled the transcript of the hearing should be released to determine if Brinkley showed any signs of inappropriate judicial conduct.

However, according to the court transcript, Judge Brinkley was not the one to comment on Meek’s music representation – it was supposedly his probation officer who instead recommended the rapper work with Mack.

The officer is reported as saying, “What I like about Charlie, he is not invested in Meek Mills (sic). He is invested in Robert Williams.”

The judge then made it clear she wanted nothing to do with the career advice, stating, “I don’t want the record to suggest who your management is or is not.”

Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, has yet to comment on the apparent setback.

Logic Accused Of Posing As High School Student To Shoot Video

(AllHipHop News) Rap star Logic may be a Grammy award-winning artist now, but his hustle to get there has caused the rapper some trouble.

Logic is accused of posing as a high-school student from Glen Cove High School, in order to shoot the video for his single Super Mario World.”

According to IndieWire, Logic, his videographer and a cameraman approached Carolina Salguero, the director of the Mary A. Whalen oil tanker, which operates as a non-profit to benefit victims of hurricane disasters.

Salguero said she received an email asking for permission to shoot the video on the 90-year-old tanker, but the videographer said it was for a high school project, in order to get around paying the $10,000 it would normally cost to shoot a full day at the location.

Salguero said she believed the group’s story that Logic was a local high school artist shooting a project, even though he was already signed to Def Jam.

“I looked at Logic; he’s so scrawny, I mistook him as a high school student,” Salguero said. “I thought the videographer was his dad, graying hair at the temples, and his friend was dressed in the beat-up Super Mario costume, I was busy and trusted I was helping high school students.”

Reps for Logic are apparently attempting to make good and send the non-profit a payment for shooting Super Mario World,” which is approaching 11 million views on YouTube.

A Conversation With Phresher On Eminem, Cardi B, Brooklyn & New Music

(AllHipHop Features) Can you imagine just a year after your breakout single makes waves in the industry, you get a call to be featured on a song with one of your musical idols? That’s the situation Phresher found himself in when Eminem selected him to be the sole rapper on the pop culture icon’s Revival album.

The man born Kashaun Rutling then got a bonus package when his appearance as the performer on Slim Shady’s original “Chloraseptic” hook was extended to include a full verse on the remix. Veteran Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz was also given time to spit bars on the newer version of the cut.

Before linking with Em and Chainz for “Chloraseptic (Remix),” Phresher had already recorded tracks with Desiigner, Remy Ma, Jim Jones, and Cardi B. The Brooklyn-bred MC initially gained traction on the net and in the club with his 2016 banger “Wait A Minute,” and he’s now close to dropping a full project titled PH.

Tidal recently highlighted Phresher by allowing him to introduce the world to his East New York neighborhood in the Where I’m From documentary. I got the chance to chat with the DGYGZ artist about the mini-film, his high-profile collaborations, his hometown rap scene, and more.

AllHipHop: Your year ended on a big note. You appeared on Eminem’s Revival album. I saw you reposted a video where Danny Duces was talking about people hating on you for a minute then when you got on the album they started to show you love. Have you experienced people approaching you differently or having a different opinion about you since that album came out?

Phresher: Yeah, of course. I expect it though. I never take it personal. It’s music. Critics and people are either going to love you or hate you. If you f-ck with me, I appreciate it. If you don’t, I appreciate it too. Hate is a form of flattery to me. I always just try to find the good in everything. Some people wrote me off, and they’re now back on the bandwagon. It’s all good.

AllHipHop: I’m sure you picked up a lot of new fans too. Being on an Eminem album is huge. Especially since you were the only rapper.

Phresher: It’s a little different now. I’m getting people from Germany. I got a lot of white fans now too. They didn’t really know me before. It’s broadened my horizons. It’s like it’s brought me a new set of fans, and I appreciate that. Shout out to the new fans. I’m coming with a new mixtape, so they’ll really understand what PH is all about.

AllHipHop: A lot of people were shocked when the remix dropped. You had talked about how you recorded a verse and 2 Chainz talked about recording a verse, but I don’t think people were expecting that remix.

Phresher: I knew it was coming.

AllHipHop: Was that the original verse you recorded?

Phresher: Yeah, that’s me and 2 Chainz’s original verses.

AllHipHop: Obviously, Em’s verse was different. What was your reaction when you heard that verse?

Phresher: I was not shocked. I was more amazed. Em is my favorite artist, so that’s not surprising to me. I know how Em gets when you get on his nerves. He lashes out, and I loved it. That’s the Marshall Mathers I know.

AllHipHop: You also collaborated with Cardi B. Can you talk about how “Right Now” came together?

Phresher: Me and Cardi are actually good friends. She was supposed to do the “Wait A Minute (Remix)” but due to a lot of bullsh-t we couldn’t release her part. Cardi B was actually in the video and everything. Some people were hating on her situation. That’s before she really broke, but I seen it. I was going through it with a bigger artist about her being on it, so she didn’t make the video. So we just decided we were going to do our own thing. We got together and did “Right Now.”

AllHipHop: Do you mean the official remix? Was she supposed to do the video with you and Remy?

Phresher: Yeah, she was actually on it. It was crazy. But a lot of bullsh-t happened and we weren’t able to release that particular footage. It’s all good though. Shout out to Cardi.

AllHipHop: I saw the documentary you have on Tidal. What did it feel like going back to your neighborhood to shoot that doc?

Phresher: That was awesome. Shout out to Tidal. I’m really thankful to them for appreciating my music and documenting my story. Going back to the neighborhood, the hood appreciated it. I try to inspire people. Where I come from, nobody makes it out. I’m like the first one from that neighborhood on a big scale, so they appreciate when I come back. I’m just trying to inspire the young boys and the older guys too. I got good standing in the neighborhood and I’m well respected. But what I’m doing right now – they’re wearing it like it’s them on the album, they sing “Wait A Minute” like it’s their song, because I’m like all we got.

AllHipHop: There was a moment in the doc where your mom talked about how you decided to leave school and pursue music. At what point did you realize that was the direction you needed to take?

Phresher: My parents are big on school. My dad was a thug in the streets, so he didn’t finish school. My mother was big on education. She’s in the education system now, so she’s been a teacher for years. So I told my mom that I could always go back to school. Sometimes you gotta take chances in life, you got to get yours. Some people don’t see it like you see it sometimes. My mom couldn’t see it. I had to prove to my mom: “Let me go for it.” I did it and now it’s starting to pay off. She never doubted me, but she’s a “Plan B,” “Plan C” kind of person.

AllHipHop: You’ve talked about being a big fan of Jay-Z. I think it’s an inspirational life journey that you went from being his fan to having your content on a platform that he’s part of.

Phresher: That’s what I’m saying. It’s amazing. I’m always trying to do what’s next. It’s so funny how things work out. I didn’t see this happening in a million years. When I was doing music, I was just doing it because I wanted to be known, I wanted to be famous. I just felt my character is so big that it’s bottled up if I’m not on TV or on the radio. To be on Eminem’s album and then to be on Tidal, my favorite artists’ platforms, is amazing.

AllHipHop: And it happened back to back.

Phresher: On Eminem’s remix I said, “I feel entitled to Tidal. F-ck it, man, I want the title. Submission, they gotta go viral.” That sat right with Tidal. People were talking about it. Certain people from Tidal called my manager. I had to give the exact lyrics. When I wrote that, it wasn’t about [connecting with Tidal]. I was doing it because I mentioned my favorite artist [Jay-Z]. It’s crazy how things work out.

AllHipHop: What are your thoughts about a lot of attention being back on Brooklyn, in part because of artists like yourself, Jay Critch, Young M.A, and 6ix9ine?

Phresher: This is what it’s supposed to be like. This is the way it used to be. There was a drought. There’s no doubt about it, there was a drought in Brooklyn music as far as artists being really known outside of New York. It’s a collaborative effort. We just gotta keep working and keep putting on for the city.

AllHipHop: You’ve mentioned that you have another project coming out this year.

Phresher: Yeah, PH. It’s coming out next month.

AllHipHop: Is that going to be a studio album or a mixtape? Well I guess nowadays it doesn’t really matter. I’m just wondering how you’re labeling it.

Phresher: Yeah, mixtape, album – it doesn’t matter. It’s a project. It’s getting to know who I am, what I do, and how versatile I am. I just gotta go into 2018 the right way.

AllHipHop: Can you talk about any of the producers or features you have on there?

Phresher: For producers, I got Reazy Renegade. I got IllaDaProducer. He produced “Wait A Minute.” I got Go Grizzly. For features, we got Jay Critch, Don Q, DreamDoll, Cardi B, and a couple more. We’re waiting for some things to come in. It’ll be wrapped up in the next few weeks. I’m very excited.

AllHipHop: Those features are very New York.

Phresher: Oh yeah, we got Philthy Rich from the Bay. We got Derez De’Shon from Atlanta. We’re working.

AllHipHop: You’ve been releasing music through Empire Distribution. Are you interested in signing with a major?

Phresher: We’re working all that out right now. I got some unfinished business with Empire. Then we’re going to jump into a major situation.

AllHipHop: What else do you have planned for the year? You’ve got the project coming. I’m sure there will be visuals with that.

Phresher: We’re shooting a lot of visuals now. I want to say we’ll be putting out two visuals per month. That’s the goal now, no less than two. Maybe three sometimes. Some people don’t even know how I look. That’s from a lack of content out, so we want to definitely put out more content. A lot of visuals. A lot of audio. We’re going to really hit the ground running this year. I have so much music. We’re holding nothing back this year. We’re letting go.

Alessia Cara Addresses Backlash For Winning Best New Artist Grammy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPW_q0z5tUc

(AllHipHop News) Every year, some type of controversy emerges after the Grammy Awards. The 2018 edition of the Recording Academy’s celebration was hit with criticism for Hip Hop once again being blocked in the Big 3 categories as well as the lack of wins for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s Spanish-language smash hit “Despacito.”

Sunday night’s ceremony also had some people giving a side-eye to Alessia Cara winning Best New Artist. The “Here” singer beat out SZA, Lil Uzi Vert, Khalid, and Julia Michaels even though Cara’s debut album Know-It-All was released in 2015.

The Recording Academy changed the rules for the Best New Artist category in 2016. A music act will now be considered for the honor if the artist or group released a minimum of five singles/tracks or one album but no more than 30 singles/tracks or three albums.

In addition, the potential nominee cannot enter into the category more than three times, including as a performing member of an established group. The recipient also must have achieved a breakthrough into the public consciousness and impacted the musical landscape during the eligibility period.

Since dropping her Four Pink Walls EP in 2015, Cara has gained RIAA platinum awards for the singles “Here,” “Wild Things,” “Scars To Your Beautiful,” and “How Far I’ll Go” which all came out before 2017. Her Know-It-All LP peaked at #9 on the Billboard 200 chart in December 2015, and the project was eventually certified platinum.

Alessia Cara responded to the negative reaction she received for taking home the Best New Artist trophy. The Def Jam recording artist wrote on Instagram:

to address the apparent backlash regarding winning something I had no control over: I didn’t log onto grammy.com and submit myself. that’s not how it works. I didn’t ask to be submitted either because there are other artists that deserve the acknowledgment. but I was nominated and won and I am not going to be upset about something I’ve wanted since I was a kid, not to mention have worked really hard for. I meant everything I said about everyone deserving the same shot. there is a big issue in the industry that perpetuates the idea that an artist’s talent and hard work should take a back seat to popularity and numbers. and I’m aware that my music wasn’t released yesterday, I’m aware that, yes, my music has become fairly popular in the last year. but I’m trying very hard to use the platform I’ve been given to talk about these things and bring light to issues that aren’t fair, all while trying to make the most of the weird, amazing success I’ve been lucky enough to have. I will not let everything I’ve worked for be diminished by people taking offence to my accomplishments and feeling the need to tell me how much I suck. here’s something fun! I’ve been thinking I suck since I was old enough to know what sucking meant. I’ve beat u to it. And that’s why this means a lot to me. despite my 183625 insecurities, I’ve been shown that what I’ve created is worth something and that people actually give a sh-t. all of the years feeling like I wasn’t good at anything or that I was naive for dreaming about something improbable have paid off in a way that I have yet to process. I know it sounds cheesy and dumb but it’s the honest truth. thanks to everyone who’s shown me kindness and support along the way. I’ll stop talking now.

(AllHipHop News) Television viewers will get to see iconic Hip Hop figure Nasir Jones in three separate programs in the coming weeks. Mass Appeal is set to release Nas Live From the Kennedy Center: Classical Hip-Hop, Word Is Bond, and Rapture.

Nas teamed with the National Symphony Orchestra to perform a symphonic rendition of the emcee’s debut album Illmatic. A Jason Goldwatch-directed concert movie covering the event was filmed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and will premiere February 2 on PBS.

Fourteen days later, Sacha Jenkins’ Word Is Bond documentary will air on Showtime. Nas, J. Cole, Tech N9ne, Rapsody, and Anderson .Paak appear in the visual examination of lyrics in Hip Hop.

Netflix will begin streaming Rapture, another Jenkins production, at the end of March. The 8-part docu-series follows the lives of Nas, Rapsody, Dave East, T.I., Logic, G-Eazy, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, 2 Chainz, and Just Blaze.

“Way back, when Hip Hop culture was in its gestational phase, the powerful message therein didn’t go much further than the five boroughs of New York City,” said Jenkins. “Today, rap music is the heartbeat of Mother Earth, and Netflix is the embodiment of the eyes from which she sees.”

He continues, “It is a great honor for Mass Appeal to work with Netflix to produce our new series Rapture. We’ve been telling Hip Hop stories since ’96, and as natives we feel it is our duty to do the movement justice. Rapture is bangin’. Straight up.”

Nas Live From the Kennedy Center airs Friday, March 2 at 9 pm ET on PBS. It will be available to stream the following day at pbs.org and on PBS apps. Word is Bond airs Friday, March 16 at 10 pm ET on Showtime. Rapture debuts Friday, March 30 on Netflix.

Are Migos Set To Release Their Own Emojis Called “E-Migo-jis”?

(AllHipHop News) Migos are apparently joining the list of Hip Hop stars with their own specialized emojis. The Atlanta-based trio talked about the potential digital characters during the second part of their interview with Beats 1 Radio’s Ebro Darden.

“You gonna get your favorite emoji – from the e-Migo-jis – and you gonna buss em down,” said Quavo. He added, “We been had this in the works. We telling you a lot of little top secret sh-t right now.”

The new Migos album Culture II contains a track titled “Emoji A Chain” which was produced by Metro Boomin. The beat maker is looking to continue his impressive streak of success in 2018.

“Shout out Metro, man, hottest producer,” declared Quavo. “2k17 and he taking over 2k18 that same way.”

Besides Metro Boomin, Culture II also features production by Quavo, DJ Durel, Zaytoven, Murda Beatz, and more. Additionally, Kanye West contributed to the project’s “BBO” featuring 21 Savage. Offset told Ebro that more music with Ye is in the stash.

Smokepurpp Talks Lil Pump Dissing J. Cole & Lyricism In Hip Hop

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glTi9SFuB9g

(AllHipHop News) In today’s world, it’s almost easier to get on as an entertainer by saying or doing something outlandish on social media than it is to focus on talent. Florida newcomers Smokepurpp and Lil Pump got attention early on for tweeting about established emcees.

“Me & Lil pump vs. J Cole & Kendrick Lamar. Tag team death match,” tweeted Smokepurpp a year ago. That post came after a 2015 tweet where the Deadstar mixtape creator suggested Young Thug was more talented than Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Nas, Jay-Z, and Immortal Technique.

Purpp’s “Ok” collaborator Lil Pump has his own online history of taking shots at the Dreamville Records boss. Pump tweeted in 2016, “B-tch I’m better than j Cole. F-ck all that lyrical sh-t.”

During an interview with Montreality, Smokepurpp was asked about the perceived disrespect directed at artists like Kendrick and Cole. The 20-year-old rhymer played down the darts thrown on Twitter as just jokes.

“Nowadays everything is kind of a troll. So people do know it’s trolling, but if you don’t, we don’t care. Pump doesn’t care,” expressed Purpp.

In the same conversation, Smokepurpp stated the “OGs” in Hip Hop need to “let that sh-t rock” when it comes to current rap music. The Travis Scott protégé added, “If [a rapper] wants to mumble rap, he can mumble rap.”

Drake Sets Hot 100 Record With “God’s Plan” & “Diplomatic Immunity”

(AllHipHop News) Drake may not have dominated the charts in 2017 like he did in previous years, but reports of him being washed have been greatly exaggerated. The superstar from Toronto proved he can still take over the music space in a flash.

“God’s Plan” was released on January 19, and Drizzy’s single premiered at the top spot on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. The track came in conjunction with the other Scary Hours song “Diplomatic Immunity” which opened at #7 on the same tally.

With both records landing in the Top 10, Drake became the first artist to debut two songs in the region at the same time more than once. The More Life tunes “Passionfruit” (#8) and “Portland” featuring Quavo and Travis Scott (#9) hit the Top 10 simultaneously in April 2017.

Ed Sheeran is the only other act to see two songs concurrently debut among the 10 most popular songs in the country. In January of 2017, the Pop singer’s “Shape of You” bowed at #1 and “Castle on the Hill” came in at #6.

“God’s Plan” is Drake’s fourth #1 on the Hot 100. He reached the pinnacle as a guest on Rihanna’s “What’s My Name?” (2010) and “Work” (2016). The OVO leader also held the front position with “One Dance” featuring WizKid and Kyla (2016).

https://youtu.be/m7HpO7EQoqU

(AllHipHop News) One of the most highly anticipated films of 2018 will arrive in theaters on February 16. Before the masses get to see Black Panther, a special world premiere for the Marvel Studios production was held in Los Angeles.

Stars of the Ryan Coogler-directed movie congregated at the Dolby Theatre on Monday. Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis were among the cast members to be photographed at the event.

John Kani, who reprises his role as T’Chaka from Captain America: Civil War, was asked what Black Panther represents for the African continent. The South African actor said, “This movie is going to deal with the myth that if the white colonialists did not land in Africa we’d still be walking in skins and chasing each other… This is one time where African people are shown in their fullest potential.”

Donald Glover (Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Lion King) and Tessa Thompson (Creed, Thor: Ragnarok) were also in attendance at the event. Other celebrities to walk the purple carpet included Snoop Dogg, Martin Lawrence, David Oyelowo, Meagan Good, George Lucas, Janelle Monáe, Sterling K. Brown, Yara Shahidi, and Miles Brown.

Is The Dream Having Threesomes With His Ex-Wife Christina Milian?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Freaky, freaky, freaky, freaky!

The Dream’s wife has folks thinking that her, Dream, and The Dream’s ex-wife, Christinia Milian are out here having threesomes together.

Welp, we know who are freaks out here, and they always say that Christina gets down with the get down anyway, and that she allegedly may be a little bi-curious!

Anyway, The Dream’s wife took to Instagram to share a very personal conversation that she had with her husband.

“My boo chains on having a convo about whether I rather have a random or a friend or an associate 3some #earnedthese #radiokillarecordssince2006 #lafamilia #forever,” she posted.

“Y’all crazy,” Christina Milian added.

Mrs. Nash repied with,

“You know you’re our boo.”

Christina replied with,

“Life partner convos.”

Oh my lawd! What is the deal here? There’s no way you can convince me that they aren’t all smashing. This is as shocking as when Joseline spilled the beans that her, Stevie J, and Mimi had had threesomes before.

My only statement would be, if she was going to participate in threesomes she could’ve stayed married to him. LOL. Or maybe they just weren’t compatible and had other issues. Or maybe Christina didn’t want to accept the cheating, but she’s a little bit more open-minded as far as some other things like some freaky rendezvous with no strings attached.

What are your thoughts? Are you down with threesome or nah?

Rick Ross’ Baby Mama Claims He Is Using Their Son To Control Her

(AllHipHop Rumors) Rick Ross is STILL going through it with one of his baby mamas!

Ross’ baby mama Tia Kemp continues to make headlines as she continues to blast Ross for allegedly abandoning his only son.

You know it gets messy over at Khia and TS Madison’s Queens Court, so Kemp created even more drama with the situation by interviewing with them.

Kemp told The Queens Court that she feels like Rick Ross is trying to use their son as a way to control her.

According to Kemp, they”ve had an on-and-off relationship over the years, and Kemp even stated previously that they still slept together while Ross was publicly dating other women.

Tia’s latest rant came from her being outraged at hearing and seeing that Ross was in town, but he hadn’t called or spent time with his son.

Tia and Rick Ross traded shots on Instagram, and Rozay claims that Tia is just mad because she doesn’t get along with his other baby mamas.

Tia even recalled a time when Rozay allegedly took back a car he gave her while at the courthouse.

When it comes to baby mama drama, a lot of rappers have it.

This is why you must be careful with who you decide to have kids with.

Where’s Nicki? Fans Are Questioning Nicki Minaj’s Social Media Absence

(AllHipHop Rumors) What’s going on with Nicki Minaj?

She hasn’t been active on social media since 2017, and that’s not like Nicki at all. Not only has she not posted on Twitter and Instagram since December, she’s also deleted her Instgram bio, and disabled her Instagram comments.

Of course you know this has her Barbz and everyone else speculating. Some believe she’s been off social media to focus on forthcoming music releases, and to take personal time.

Others question if she was tired of people commenting in her comments asking her when new music was coming, and tired of Cardi B’s fans also harassing her. Of course Lil Kim and Remy Ma’s fans always have time to let her have it also.

Folks even seem to believe that she locked her IG comments just in case Cardi B won a Grammy. Now you know Cardi’s fans would have been going ham in Nicki’s comments trolling her TO DEATH!

Now Nicki & Cardi B have maintained that there are no issues between them, but no one is buying this. It looks like this alleged “beef” between them is allegedly because of Nicki Minaj’s alleged actions.

What are your thoughts? Why do you think Nicki Minaj has been quiet on social media with a disabled comment section?

Kodak Black Accused Of Jerking Promoters Out Of Hundreds Of Thousands

(AllHipHop News) Kodak Black is accused of swindling two promoters out of hundreds of thousands of dollars and now he’s facing a lawsuit.

The rapper’s frequent arrests have landed him a pair of lawsuits, claiming he stiffed different promoters and skipped shows.

One promoter named Corey Minniefield says Kodak cashed a $45,000 check last February to perform, but the rap star was busted for a probation violation on the same day he was supposed to perform.

Kodak made the issue worse when he blew off the makeup date.

The same thing happened to another promoter named Nicholas Fitts, who paid for a concert featuring the rapper on March 3, which Kodak missed because he was in jail.

Kodak also missed the makeup date for that concert as well, because he was still locked up on the day the show was supposed to take place.

Nicholas Fitts is suing Kodak Black for at least $123,000.

Apparently Drake was was feeling some kind of way about the former ‘Everyday Struggle’ co-hosts when they questioned whether he was falling off or not.

Drake took time to remind Ak that he does not rock with him while celebrating his mother’s birthday on his Instagram live stream.

Ak casually jumped in the comments and started a conversation with rapper Logic.

When Drake spotted DJ Akademik’s in his comments, he said,

“Yo Akademiks dip from my live, man. Real talk.”

Drizzy also asked Ak to stop trying to have a moment.

“I don’t rate you like that, bro. Dip from my live. Stop tryna get your shine,” Drake continued.

DJ Akademiks claims he doesn’t care about what others have to say about him, including Drake.

Ak is probably just happy for the extra publicity.
