6ix9ine Prepars for War Against Casanova 2X

(AllHipHop Rumors) To this day, I have no clue why 6ix9ine and Casanova are beefing. The one thing I can see is that they are going to clash. I know I am way late on this, but this is going to happen. New York is smaller than ever and the days of 50 Cent and Ja Rule are long gone. 50 had protection and Ja was a super star signed to Def Jam. Now, its all gangs and soundcloud raps.

By the way, rumors that Cas or somebody getting to 6ix9ine at the YAMS DAY concert are greatly exaggerated. He live IG’d from someplace to let him know was not involved in any mess. “For everybody that’s putting my name in that Yams Day situation, that had nothing to do with me. I’m perfectly fine. That had nothing to do with me. It’s crazy, you know what I’m saying, the amount of hate that just goes around in this world, man. Yams didn’t deserve that. It was a charity event, you know what I’m saying, for Yams’ family. That had nothing to do with me… I wasn’t in no fight. My hair is still laced, this perm. I got into no altercation… You can see my face. I wasn’t shot, I wasn’t stabbed. Stop making up stories…”

DAMN! People are longing for him to get beat down. This is about to be really interesting. How many days left until Casanova is able to knuckle up?

Migos Rapper Offset Issues Lengthy Apology For Homophobic Lyrics

(AllHipHop News) Migos rapper Offset has apologized for using the word “queer” in a recent song, insisting he didn’t mean for the lyric to be interpreted as a gay slur.

The hip-hop star initially caused a stir last month when “Boss Life,” a track he recorded with Atlanta, Georgia rapper YFN Lucci, was shared online, with some people criticizing Offset for seemingly spitting a homophobic line.

On the song, he rhymes, “Pinky ring crystal clear/40k spent on a private Lear/60k solitaire/I cannot vibe with q#####.”

The controversy resurfaced earlier this week after the release of the accompanying music video, and on Thursday, Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, took to Instagram to address the backlash.

Alongside a definition of the word “queer,” which is described to mean “strange, odd,” the 26-year-old explained he has nothing but love for people from all walks of life.

“I have said before since these issues before that I got love for all people he began. “My passion for fashion has lead me to a lot of gay people around me who I have mad respect for and we are very cool so I’m not in a place where I’m hating like that.”

Offset went on to reveal he was simply looking for another word to fit in with the rhyme, and was inspired by reading an Internet example for using “queer” in a sentence, which stated, “she had a queer feeling that they were being watched.”

He continued, “When I wrote that I was thinking of words that could rhyme with the others (here, lear, solitaire, bear) and I saw this definition… and it fit what I was thinking about a stalker creepy paparazzi situation. To me that ‘queer’ I don’t mean someone who’s gay. I mean lame people who film you, post it and stalk you. Lingo that means strange or odd.”

And while he didn’t mean to offend anyone, Cardi B’s fiance ended his post by adding, “I M S O R R Y… I A P O L O G I Z E.”

It’s not the first time the members of Migos have been accused of homophobia.

Last year they appeared to slam fellow rapper iLoveMakonnen’s decision to come out as gay after expressing their surprise at fans continuing to support him, despite going public with his sexuality.

“Damn, Makonnen! They supported him?,” Quavo remarked to Rolling Stone magazine, before Offset quipped, “That’s because the world is f##ked up.”

The “Bad and Boujee” hitmakers subsequently backtracked over their comments, issuing a statement which read: “We love all people, gay or straight and we apologize if we offended anyone.”

Man Shot In Car Park After Meek Mill Gig Suing Rapper

(AllHipHop News) A Meek Mill fan is suing the rapper after he was shot at one of his gigs.

Dylan Thomas was shot in the leg as violence broke out at Meek’s Oakdale Theater concert in Wallingford, Connecticut on 30 December, 2016, and he now claims the hip-hop star is responsible for his injuries, according to TMZ.

In his legal papers, Thomas insists the rap star should have hired more security for the show.

Two men were killed and another was injured in the shooting incident, which took place in a car park outside the Oakdale Theater after the show.

Meek was previously sued by the family of one of the men who died.

Does Joe Budden Owe The Migos?

By Rico Panacea (@RicoPanacea)

(AllHipHop Rumors) Migos recently announced that their ‘Culture II’ album would be released this month. Now we’re seeing the media rounds to support the project.

‘Culture II’ is set to be released Grammy awards weekend on Friday, January 26.

The group sat down with Beats 1 host Ebro for an interview to discuss the album and various topics.

The interview shed light on many things surrounding the group. Migos stated they chose the January 26 release date for ‘Culture II’ because it’s the one year anniversary of their ‘Culture’ album.

The group felt ‘Culture’ was their biggest album and wanted to both acknowledge and celebrate.

Offset was also asked about being in the spotlight more due to his high profile relationship, to which he answered with remarks about it not bothering him as much as it would a normal person. He also spoke about this not being his first industry relationship, but this being the most high profile one.

They also were asked about their group dynamic and how they became rappers. Here we saw Quavo and Offset show their respect to Takeoff for being the first rapper initially.

Even while attempting to play the background, Quavo and Offset made sure to tell Takeoff to accept his moment. To which he would also acknowledge him being the first rapper of the three while Offset and Quavo were involved in athletics.

The group also joked when asked about Joe Budden. They joked about him owing them a cut of his new check from his future Revolt TV deal for helping him go solo.

They also got serious when speaking about Budden and acknowledged that they wish the best for Joe and don’t think he doesn’t like them. They just think that he’s passionate about Hip Hop and is basically just trying to protect it.

This interview with Beats 1 is easily the best Migos interview ever.

Also it was the most insightful as they prepare to release their ‘Culture II’ album.

The group is nominated for 2 awards at the January 28th Grammy awards show: one for Best Rap Album and another for Best Rap Performance.

Additionally some folks are wondering has the backlash from the controversy surrounding Offset’s anti queer-vibing lyric going to delay or negatively impact the roll out of ‘Culture II’.

Do you think Migos will win a Grammy award at this years event?

NBA Star Makes Black History With Rihanna Curve

(AllHipHop News) So, this happened.

“This is the truth… I was trying to get with this famous girl and she said ” Come back when you’re a All Star” bruhh”

And Joel Embiid came back like he was avenging his brother death. But, Rihanna Curved him back in the day and now he’s no longer interested. “She denied me back then; there’s no reason to go back to her.” Peep below how it went down.

Here is the transcript of Joel Embiid actually making Black History!

LeBATARD: You’ve been pushing to make the All-Star Game. Is it true — is
this a true story or are you making this up — that a woman, a famous
woman, you were hitting on her and she said, “Come back when you’re an
all-star?” Is that true of false?

EMBIID: It’s a true story. It’s not who everybody thinks it is. But the story is actually true.

LeBATARD: So it’s not Rihanna? Because everybody thinks it’s Rihanna.

EMBIID: No. [Laugh]

LeBATARD: OK, well I’m wondering who it is then. Why are you keeping her a secret?

EMBIID: I mean, if I make the All-Star Game, everyone’s going to find
out who the woman is. But I think it’s just funny so that’s why I’ve
been using that to get some more votes and people —

LeBATARD: Wait a minute, so you’re actually going to get a date with
this woman and unveil this date if you do indeed make the All-Star Game?

EMBIID: Yeah. [Laugh]

LeBATARD: So you’re gonna get the date? You know you need— OK, so this
is the first time this has ever been done in the history of the All-Star
Game.

[Embiid continues to laugh]

STUGOTZ: What if he doesn’t make it this year and makes it next year and by next year she’s taken?

LeBATARD: Well, OK, wait a minute. What is going to happen there?

EMBIID: Uh, I think she’s going to have to leave her man for me because—
she’s just going to have to leave her man for me. That’s how it goes.
[Laugh]

EXCLUSIVE: Producers In Legal War Over Two Of 50 Cent’s Hits

(AllHipHop News) A nasty lawsuit has broken out between two producers, who are fighting over royalties earned from a couple of 50 Cent’s biggest hits.

According to a lawsuit filed in New York, producers Phillip “Bang Out” Pitts and Teraike “C. Styles” Crawford are in a legal tussle over the production credits for “Disco Inferno” and “In My Hood” from Fif’s#### album The Massacre.

Pitts signed an agreement with Dangerous LLC back in 2004.

Pitts claims his arrangement with the company gave Dangerous the rights to 100% of his productions, in return for a payment of royalties.

According to Pitts, he is supposed to receive a guaranteed 1% of the earnings Dangerous collected on behalf of his compositions.

According to Pitts, he was never recognized as a producer, and C. Styles claimed to have made the tracks, in order to claim credit to get royalties that rightfully belonged to Pitts.

In addition to 50 Cent, Pitts maintains he produced tracks for Avant and Lloyd Banks without being properly attributed or paid for his work.

According to the lawsuit, the two men agreed to a release in July 2006, but Dangerous LLC was still obligated to pay the royalties for the music Pitts produced.

“Despite repeated demands to receive payment and an accounting from Dangerous, Pitts has never received any royalties for the two huge selling and streamed songs by 50 Cent nor So Many Ways by Avant, all of which have certainly generated large sums of money,” Pitts’ lawyer wrote in the lawsuit.

Pitts is seeking at least $500,000 in damages.

Neither 50 Cent or G-Unit is named in the lawsuit.
