Vic Mensa Teams With UGG For Men And Footaction To Launch Fall Campaign (PHOTOS/VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Roc Nation rhymer Vic Mensa partnered with UGG for a new fall campaign.

A curated selection of UGG for Men boots such as the Neumel, the Butte, the Roskoe, the Hannen TL, and the Harkley will be sold at Footaction.

“We are honored to partner with Vic Mensa to launch our relationship with lifestyle retailer, Footaction,” said Alice Hampton, Senior Director of Global PR for UGG. “Vic is an incredible creative talent who brings a unique perspective to our men’s range, which will be sold at Footaction this fall. We could not be more excited to welcome him, and Footaction, into the UGG family.”

Photos for the campaign were shot in Vic’s hometown of Chicago. Jake Osmun was the photographer for the shoot, and Zoe Costell served as the personal style consultant.

“I like where the UGG brand is going,” said Vic Mensa. “They’re open to trying new things and really pushing forward. When someone like me wears UGG, it’s kind of like repurposing the brand from its original concept, which was made for surfers. I think it’s dope that they’re taking new perspectives.”

(AllHipHop Features) Love it or hate it, Desiigner has emerged as one of the most endearing, often confounding characters in the ever-evolving world of Hip-Hop music.

However, interviewing him can be difficult and the young Brooklyn rapper has proven himself to be a bit of an enigma with spastic tendencies.

Philadelphia scribe Jhiermiel Showell caught up with Desiigner and it was as entertaining as the rapper’s performances. It went a little something like this:

AllHipHop: What goes through your head minutes before you step on stage?

Desiigner: Crazy! Y’all know what time it is. Shutting it down for all my fans out there. Everybody just (my jaw) you know – Gik! Gik! Gik! Aye!

What would you be doing if you weren’t doing music?

Do music. Doing some more music. Putting a little more creation down. You know how we do that sh*t. Yeah. (Smiles)

What’s your formula for putting together a hit record. Like what do you do in the studio to put together a hit record?

(Does a dance that looks like the old Flavor Flav Dance) Crazy! Get crazy, you dig man? Crazy. Get my funk (or fun) on. Y’all know what time it is.

Who inspires you?

Sun. Light. Music. Man, just every type of sound. There’s love inside (that is what we believe he said). We do this sh*t. You dig?

Kanye West Ends L.A. Concert Short After Experiencing Vocal Problems (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West was forced to cut his show short last night.

About 45 minutes into his Saint Pablo Tour stop, Ye told the crowd at the Forum he could not continue.

“I can’t do the show,” said Kanye. “I gotta give y’all a refund. My voice.. I can’t do the f-cking show.”

He added, “I can’t let y’all have a show where I can’t perform. I’m sorry.”

This was The Life Of Pablo album creator’s sixth sold-out performance in Inglewood.

Kanye is next set to hit the stage on November 17 in San Jose, California.

Country Music Awards Does Something More Racist To Beyoncé Than The Racists!

Racism is so very alive. You gotta hate it! However, maybe they don’t hate it. Maybe they love it, actually! Recently, Beyoncé performed at the Country Music Awards to the chagrin of trailer parks all over the country. I guess it doesn’t matter that Black people created country music, they are just going to steamroll that with PURE RACISM. So, the comments that the CMA had to deal with were crazy and it was all because of Beyonce. It was B’s fault, right?

Why would you say that, bro? I say that because the CMA decided to ERASE ALL MENTION OF BEYONCE ON THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA AND EVERYTHING ELSE. Everything else: Beyoncé’s performance with the Dixie Chicks was vamoosed from Country Music Association’s website, Facebook, Twitter account. Tweets and Facebook posts that included Beyoncé – GONE! Why? So they could somehow delete racism too? What did Beyoncé do except get them more viewers? Or did they use her and toss her aside once they got what they needed? Regardless its corny and more dangerously, dismissive of the horrendous racism in their viewership. Wouldn’t it be better to disown and diss that sort of backlash?

Nah, delete the Black chick that happens to be one of the biggest stars in the universe.

Right now, you can only purchase the drink in Hallandale, Florida, but it will soon be available online.

EXCLUSIVE: Former Remy Boy P. Dice DISSES Fetty Wap On New Song “FETTY VANILLI”

(AllHipHop News) Recording artist P. Dice formally of the Remy Boyz has released the first single from his upcoming project, “The Petting Zoo.”

The new single, “Fetty Vanilli” takes aim at Fetty Wap, who P. Dice recently filed a $7 million dollar lawsuit against for co-writing the hit “679.”

According to the documents filed, Fetty Wap had a deal with P.Dice for 16.9% of the profits

P. Dices’ new track, “Fetty Vanilli” samples the 1989 hit, “Girl You Know It’s True” by Milli Vanilli, the group that was infamously exposed for lip-synching back in the 1990’s and were eventually stripped of their Grammy Award.

On the track, which features Dylie Dollas, P. Dice raps about his relationship with Fetty Wap and compares him to a modern day Milli Vanilli.

He raps “Wap you know it’s true, oou oou, oou, I made you.”

In addition to his new project, which is set to be release on November 11th, P. Dice is currently working with Wonderboy Music and has been hitting the studio with French Montana.

Drake & Taylor Swift Are Cooking Up Something “Very Different”

Nicki and Meek seemed to announce their breakup last night on Instagram via trading subliminal shots.

Knowing these two, this could be all one big publicity stunt. Meek Mill just released new music with his long-awaited ‘DC4,’ and Nicki may be releasing new music next month… so why not create some hype.

Meek posted about not wanting to have to fight with his woman, and Nicki Minaj posted about helping an ungrateful person get on their feet.

Things really got heated when Meek shared a post about having money before he met certain industry cats as well as commented on one of Nicki’s post saying,

“That’s why I make sure I stand on my own and was M’d up when I met you.”

He also posted,

“Don’t act like you played a part in nothing I got going on when I’m doing my thing…because most likely I had a bag b4 I met most of you.”

Now Meek knows being with Nicki, and Nicki speaking out on that man’s behalf has certainly helped him also. Shout out to all my boss b-tches wifing….. well y’all know the rest.

RIP Bankroll! No Plug Is Begging To Be Harmed!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Rapper No Plug is begging to get harmed we swear!

Although he says he killed his former friend Bankroll Fresh out of self defense, all has not be forgotten or forgiven.

Now, No Plug is saying he’s filming a music video in Bankroll’s hood this Saturday.

For months after Bankroll Fresh’s murder, fans wondered what exactly happened to the rapper that day outside of 2 Chainz’s Street Exec studio.

Details of No Plug’s involvement in the murder were unclear until Plug sat down with DJ Vlad and revealed Bankroll’s side started shooting first, and when Plug’s side returned fire Bankroll was shot and killed.

No Plug has since been cleared in the name of self defense, but law and the streets are two different things.

Many feel that No Plug has been bragging about his involvement in the “self defense” murder, and they feel like he has been too cocky lately.

It would probably be in his best interest to not shoot the video there. It sounds like he’s looking to get killed.

Jack White, Sir Elton John and Busta Rhymes will be among the guests featured on A Tribe Called Quest’s final album. The pioneering hip-hop group’s frontman Q-Tip and Jarobi White recently announced plans to release a secret album to honor their late bandmate Malik ‘Phife Dawg’ Taylor, and now it appears the project will be star-studded. We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service, which will be released on November 11, will also feature Kendrick Lamar and Andre 3000. Confirming his spot on the album, rapper Rhymes tells the New York Times, “Everybody wrote his stuff in front of everybody. Everybody spat their rhymes in front of each other. We were throwing ideas around together.” And Q-Tip has paid tribute to Jack White, revealing he showed up without any equipment, took a studio guitar and “got his wizard on.”

The award-winning Broadway musical Hamilton has announced that the highly anticipated mixtape with several A-listers collaborators is now available for pre-order. The “Hamilton” mixtape, which was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Questlove, features artists paired together to create new songs from artists like Queen Latifah and Miguel, The Roots and Ingrid Michaelson and even Ashanti and Ja Rule. Rapper Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian had a visit with the son of Alton Sterling, who was fatally shot by police in New Orleans, while he was handing out copies of his CD. On Tuesday, Sterling’s eldest son Cameron received some VIP treatment from the West’s backstage at “The Life of Pablo” tour in Inglewood, California. Cameron’s lawyer Justin Bamberg posted a picture of the trio together on his Twitter page.

Los Angeles emcee Mike Rebel follows up his “Twisted and Laidback” visual with this video of the bender from hell on “Stayin Alive/Lies.”

Taken from his upcoming January 2017 release, “The Diary of Jethro Fedora,” this Dale “Rage” Resteghini-directed depiction of addiction would have anyone running for a Betty Ford clinic. Good thing Rebel’s rehab stint is already in his rearview.

“This video is about a few nights I spent with the ‘white girl’…it’s a metaphor for my drug of choice and the hallucinations and insanity that plagued me in those times…I think a lot of my people that struggle with addiction will relate, and others will hopefully be entertained and warned with troubles I went through getting signed and having too much money in Hollywood ” this son of a militant Islamic father shares.

Discussing his upcoming project, Rebel explains:

“Jethrow is my ‘OG’. He exists and he don’t, but he does. We grew up in the jungles, South Central L.A. Behind our street on Ursula Ave, there was this old homeless cat named L’cee.

“He was a little crazy at night time and he would yell out curse words at nobody all night, but when we passed him in the day he was all there. He would say little wise comments , like advice. Mostly every Hood, or community has a Jethrow; he’s that old school logic that’s in us all that is missing in this new generation.

“In our communities, he’s there but we just need to take time and listen to him. These days too many people follow kids that don’t know s###, ain’t lived s###. Ain’t no more old songs. Just quick pleasures. ‘The Diary of Jethrow Fedora’ is my new classic s##t.”
