It looks like Nicki Minaj has made up her mind about who she will be voting for in 2020! It’s Yeezus; Kanye West for President! As much as we love Ye…..oh never mind. Does he have your vote for 2020? If Ye was ever to become president that would make Kim Kardashian first lady. Let us pack our shhhh now. LOL.
WSBTV was reporting on passengers getting arrested for guns at the airport (those who fail to have a valid permit). In their news story, they reported that Waka Flocka was amongst those arrested for failing to have a permit. The part that caught us off guard was the fact that they showed a picture of Bobby Shmurda when talking about Waka. C’mon WSBTV. I guess all black people rappers look alike. They could’ve at least Googled Waka.
Two of the biggest stars in rap music at the moment seem to be working on something big. Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee almost let it slip on The Breakfast Club.
The Power 105 crew were talking about Meek Mill still being bothered by Drake, and they hinted that Drizzy is about to team up with Future.
“Let’s see if he feels like that in a couple of months?” said Charlamagne about Meek.
“What? When Drake and Future…” responded Angela.
“Shut up Yee,” said Charlamagne.
Does this mean Drake and Future are about to partner up? A joint mixtape? Tour? Or could it have something to do with the Powerhouse concert in Brooklyn? We’ll have to wait and see.
Rumors have been swirling that Karrueche is dating Future’s DJ, DJ Esco. Karrueche has now denied the rumors. Either way The Game is available and has been lurking on her Instagram page. Knowing Chris Brown, him and Esco probably fell out over the picture alone. Breezy has already gotten into it with Game over him liking her pics.
(AllHipHop News) The next installment of the wildly popular Star Wars franchise is set to hit theaters this December. The cast for Episode VII includes the return of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill.
Apparently Star Wars: The ForceAwakens could have consisted of a Hip Hop artist as well. Cleveland rapper/actor Kid Cudi revealed to his Twitter followers he auditioned for a part in the movie.
I auditioned!! That whole experience alone was WILD. Happy I was able to get in the room and try! Blessed! https://t.co/fWF1U0sUNb
Cudi (aka Scott Mescudi)previously appeared in the films Need for Speed, Two Night Stand, and Entourage, He also had a main role in the HBO series How to Make It in America. His next project James White is scheduled for release on November 13.
The Game is now aiming at Chris Brown and blaming his former friend for the vandalization of several of his luxury cars.
Apparently, Wackstar, a friend of Chris Brown, is the culprit that The Game says is responsible.
On a seemingly deleted instagram post, The Game said, “’Tell these fans who really had Chris Brown auntie tied up & his house broke into you pu**y a*s f**got. When I see you I’m gone break yo f****n jaw…So have yo gun on you pu**y.’” Those comments were not directed towards Chris Brown.
Over the weekend, Game posted visuals that showed somebody hitting his cars with an object.
It is unclear why The Game is blaming Backstair, because he is clearly not the person in the video. The video boasts a White male vandalizing the fleet of cars. Wackstar is Black.
The Game said he intends to find the person that damaged his vehicles.
In the meantime, he took to Instagram to express interest in Chris Brown’s ex Karrueche Tran. Chris Brown commented that the move seemed like a play for publicity.

Labor Day may signify the end of Summer, but that doesn’t mean that the party’s over. Last night in Brooklyn, at the Inlet, the fifth annual installment of the Fool’s Gold Presents: Day Off supplied awesome showmanship along with salacious fodder for today’s headlines — this largely a courtesy of Meek Mill.
This nomadic festival which navigates the nation offers a different lineup for each of city it visits. Towkio and Fame School, effectively warmed up the Big Apple crowd. When A-Trak commanded the 1’s and 2’s playing tracks like Travi$ Scott’s “Antidote,” the crowd responded word for word — the atmosphere turned all the way up. Although A-Trak tried to douse the crowd with bottles of water that only served to amp up its level of excitement.
“I got the gas and the coke / I don’t sell mollys no more,” were a few of the words that ILoveMakonnen used to connect to the crowd. Dressed in all black with tasteful pieces of jewelry, A$AP Ferg, effortlessly manipulated the mic when spitting lyrics to some of his songs like “Shabba.” The special guest also took the time to spit a freestyle dedicated to A$AP Yams. The next unexpected invite was none other than Brooklyn’s own, Fabolous. Both “Situations” and “Breathe” were delivered to an appreciative audience.
Recovering from an unexpected fall between the stage and the platform supporting the amps, Post Malone, performed his popular tracks like “Too Young,” “White Iverson,””What’s Up,” and “That’s It.” The lit crowd reflected its confidence in the emerging talent. Soon, Atlanta native, Bankroll Fresh took his turn with the mic. Once the crowd was consumed by a boisterous chant of DBK, Skepta stepped forward. The London lad effectively “Shutdown” the crowd, and proceeded to give up fan favorites like “It Ain’t Safe.”
Although they were not labeled as the headliner the Flatbush Zombies stole the show. From diving into the audience and riding the wave with multiple crowd surfing endeavors, the Brooklyn trio left everything on the stage. “Palm Trees” amongst other tracks helped to encourage friendly mosh pits. When Meek Mill arrived to start his set, all the gathered publications covering the event were made to relocate from the front of the stage.
Of course, Meek Mill shared obligatory songs like “Levels,” “House Party,” “Amen,” “The Get Back.” Supporters were disappointed that the Philly native abruptly cut short his set after a crowd surfing attempt went awry. “I tried to do some hardcore sh*t for the first time. I can’t handle it. Is it always hard like that? Don’t push me!I am not ready for this sh*t right here,” he told the spectators.
All beef aside, Meek did take the time to show love to Future, Travi$ Scott, and Bobby Shmurda. Fool’s Gold Presents: Day Off was definitely worth the price of admission. Be sure to check it out when it visits a city near you!

The world of Hip Hop and video games are set to collide with the release of the highly anticipated Afro Samurai 2: Revenge Of Kuma fromVersus Evil/Redacted Studios. The single-player game is the latest installment of the martial arts tale which began with the original 2009 edition.
AS2 once again incorporates music procured by Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA, but this time little-known musicians have the opportunity to submit tunes for possible placement on the soundtrack. David Robinson, president/founder of Redacted Studios, along with music artist Roberto “Visualeyes” McCoy, spoke with AllHipHop.com about the Afro Samurai2 contest.
“I’m not here to judge you. It’s like you’re in an ice cream shop, and I’m trying to find a flavor I can sell 100 million gallons of. But if you’re making pistachio that doesn’t make it wrong,” says Robinson. “What I’m asking people to do is listen to the previous Afro music and see if you can hit this tone. See if you can hit this key which is poetry about family, love, and lost that makes you feel powerful when you listen to it. It’s what we call the ‘Afro Vibe.’”
Visualeyes adds, “I couldn’t be anymore blessed that Afro Samurai is interactive with the next revolution of music, being that many people can put out their talent and try to be picked up through this source.”
The California based rhymer’s involvement with Afro Samurai 2 perfectly symbolizes the team’s goal of providing untapped talent the opportunity to have their music exposed to hundreds of thousands of gamers.
Robinson discovered Visualeyes at an Oakland area grocery store. Viz handed Robinson a CD of his music, not knowing he was the man that partnered with RZA for the soundtrack to the first Afro Samurai game. The CD sat in Robinson’s vehicle until weeks later when the person cleaning his car decided not to throw it out believing the item might be important.
“It let me know God needed me to hear this,” states Robinson. “I live in Oakland, but my studio is in Malibu. I was on my way to work, and I turned around and drove all the way back to Safeway. I literally got in Roberto’s face like a groupie, and said, ‘Hey man, I got to talk to you about your music.’”
The happenstance eventually led to a year-long process of Robinson and Visualeyes collaborating to produce the sounds that will serve as an operatic representation of the emotions on Afro Samurai 2.
“The process has not been easy at all. It’s been a lot of trial-and-error and a lot of push-and-pull,” admits Visualeyes. “One of the things Dave said to me was that he wanted music that is stronger than the video game itself. He wants music that will stand out on its own.”
Before teaming up with Robinson, Visualeyes was crafting his own poetic tunes. Inspired by James Brown, Prince, and classic Hip Hop, McCoy began recording at the age of 17. Up next is a project titled Powerful Music.
“Being a true listener was the difference for me. I was more interested in the way that it was said, rather than what was being said – its technique and style,” explains Visualeyes about his studying of other artist’s work.
Now different musical acts can be brought into the Afro Samurai universe and the multi-million dollar ad campaign associated with the game. Legal U.S. residents over the age of 18 can submit a 2-4 minute recording to the “Afro Samurai Original Track Contest.”
The ultimate goal of the contest is not just to find other contributors for the soundtrack, but it will also hopefully provide a stepping stone for the artists to earn profit in alternative mediums. According to Robinson, Visualeyes and all participants will maintain ownership of their music as well.
“I got mine. I’ve been blessed. I’m trying to get into heaven. I need to open some doors, because I was blessed,” conveys the 20 year veteran of the gaming industry.
Robinson reveals AS2 will continue to provide an outlet for up-and-coming musicians beyond the initial release of the game. Afro Samurai is being presented as a show with different seasons – 3 volumes with 12 chapters, each chapter having different background music.
Bobby Digital
The game’s storyline was written by Jim DeFelice, the co-author of American Sniper. Look for the Wu’s RZA to show up in chapter 3.
“We’re creating a story that fits this bigger, broader path of how we’re talking about family, revenge, and Hip Hop. Then we’re creating these cool operatic stories behind the theme,” suggests Robinson.
Redacted Studios is planning to follow-up Afro Samurai with a role-playing game called Sword King that’s centered around Hip Hop. Some mainstream rappers are hoping to take part in the project.
Sword King
Robinson offers, “Imagine Afro Samurai on steroids where you have lots of Hip Hop talent from all over the world. The characters’ raps actually power the game.”
In the meantime, the soundtrack for Afro Samurai 2 is set to drop around the time the game is released. Gamers and Hip Hoppers can expect an introduction to some of the top undiscovered artisans in the country.
“One of the biggest things the contest is going to do is bring out some really amazing talent. It’s going to do away with a lot of that other ‘here-and-there’ Hip Hop,” says Visualeyes.

Neef Buck of the Young Gunz drops “Like Me”, his latest music video off Forever Do Me 7. Directed by Legend and Chancellor Tha Beast, Neef takes it outside of the hood for the ladies on this joint that is also available for purchase on iTunes.
Every once in a while there is a video that comes along that is a pure gem. You might notice that we put the director in the title, which we don’t always do, but this guy had to be up for honorable mention. This video is incredibly animated and created by director @RickstarrLife who clearly put in an immense amount of time and effort to put together an amazing piece of work. Not to mention J-Jon seamlessly transitions through his lyrics that are cohesive with punchline after punchline. Literally bringing to life J-Jon’s rhymes, this video takes into account every punchline and adlib to make for one hell of a ride. You really never know what’s coming next in this video. This is a must see.
