G.Huff – “H.N.H (H*es N Housewives)”

Youngstown, Ohio native G.Huff releases Da Bopman-produced track  “H.N.H (H*es N Housewives)”. The single is off his upcoming Royalty For A Lifetime EP.

The 9 track EP features appearances from NoreRansom, and Vice Souletric. The project’s engineering duties were handled by Statik SelektahDJ FXManuel Roessler and Darris Hoskins of Bump Radio. Royalty For A Lifetime will be released in September of 2015.

H*es N Housewives is my way of saying good and bad. You have good women who are meant to be housewives, and you have some not so good women. I don’t want the word “hoe” to be a distraction to listeners, but I definitely wanted to express myself in a way that would be fully understood.G.Huff

What’s Beef: Mike Epps Parodies Ghostface Killah’s Action Bronson Diss Video?

The married Mike Epps, was recently busted by his wife for his risque social media behavior. Perhaps in an attempt to deflect some of the spotlight’s glare, the veteran comedian has recently uploaded a YouTube video, where he the spoofs  Ghostface Killah’s message to Action Bronson.

Back in July, Ironman released a video where he candidly shared his thoughts. This response followed Action’s appearance on ESPN’s Sports Nation. Pretty Tony challenged the Queens MC and rhetorically asked things like, “Who gives you the right to even mention my name out your m############ mouth? Boy, you done made a mistake.”

Below, check out the video. Did Mike Epps rendition do the original video justice?

Stalley – “Boomin”

Stalley gives us a nice joint to ride to with the video, and spits some real life isht on the track. From having a task force kick the door in to rebounding and making his way back with his BCG crew, Stalley is as real as it gets despite the fact that he’s one of the more quiet MMG acts. This next project Ohio, might the a gem.

Chevy Woods – “5 AM”

Taylored up with his 48 Hunnid project out now and available for fans, Chevy Woods drops a new visual for his joint “5 Am.” But this joint isn’t from his 48 Hunnid effort this one wraps up his Gangland 3 series. Sean Price Breaks Down ‘Songs In the Key of Price’

The late Sean Price breaks down his new project Songs in the Key of Price for Mr. Green. Filmed while Mr. Green and Sean Price were taping an upcoming episode of Live From The Streets, the clip shows Sean’s excitement for his new project and the craft itself. Price also explains what D.L.F. means as well in the short 2:30 min clip. RIP SEAN P. Songs in the Key of Price is set to be released August 21st.

Yasiin Bey – “Basquiat Ghostwriter”

Cut between Basquiat clips and Yasiin, this new joint “Basquiat Ghostwriter” is a great take on abstract poetry and rap. What is the artist formerly known as Mos Def talking about? It’s difficult to say but if you run this song back a few times the message becomes more clear. After challenging his fellow rappers to a battle a few weeks back amidst the Meek Mill & Drake beef, it’s possible that this has something to do with money taking over the culture, exploitation, art, and the age old question of whether or not ghostwriting is legit. Def some food for thought beyond the trap.

Apollo Ali – “Purge”

Apollo Ali has been on AHH several times before but this talent hailing from Camden, NJ is back wtih “Purge,” from his new album Contradiction. Apollo first burst onto to the scene in 2010, when he dropped H.I.M. (History in the Making). Over the past five years, with a lot of hustle and even more flow, Apollo built up a buzz in the streets; he’s toured with Freeway and Joel Ortiz, and even opened up for Dipset during their reunion, as well as other notables, such as Ghostface.

“Purge” is produced by Charlie Heat; video direction by Follow The Script. Contradiction is available on iTunes now, and features August Alsina, Jadakiss, the late Sean Price (rest in peace!), & Dave East.

PARIS – “Buck, Buck, Pass”

Politically astute Bay Area hip-hop artist Paris has a long lasting career filled with incendiary lyrics and shocking videos. But with over 4 million in sales to his credit, Paris still feels the need to chronicle the escalating gun violence-related loss of life, which he refers to as his community’s holocaust.

In “Buck, Buck, Pass”, the latest video from his forthcoming double album, Pistol Politics, Paris chronicles the carnage – but with a twist – detailing the journey of the life of a firearm from its perspective, from its manufactured inception to its illegal use on America’s streets.

While not a call for gun control (Paris is a staunch supporter of self-defense), it is a commentary on gun violence, its often ignored racial implications and its after effects, providing a spotlight on what he considers to be the real enemy – the corporate and political machinery that benefits from the steady diet of death of mainly young people of color.

Pistol Politics hits stores September 11, 2015. Pre-order now on Amazon.

Diddy Admits To Cheating 25 Percent Of The Time

Photo via Diddy’s Instagram

Not too long ago Diddy announced that he wasn’t really thinking about marriage, but instead he believes in love contracts. Cassie doesn’t seem to mind. Recently Puffy said that being with him he can guarantee 25% of cheating and bullsh*t and 75% of the happiest moments of your life. With the 75% he also said he would be there to support his woman’s dreams, be there to hold her and listen to her, and be her best friend. While he doesn’t mind admitting that he has cheated “in the past” and has been cheated on, he doesn’t advise that his significant other cheats. Double standard much? Ladies would you enter a love contract like this? Well some of you accept way less and worse so never mind. LOL. Skip to 27:54 to hear Diddy break down his love contract.
