Drake Disses Meek Mill At A Kickball Game

Meek Mill’s has been taking a lot of losses this week, but Drake isn’t by far. That’s what the Canadian superstar had to say during a kickball game yesterday held in Toronto. What’s even pettier is that the 6 God said all of this in a T-Shirt with the “Charged Up” logo on the back. Meek Mill and Drake have been in the news a consistently earlier this week for their Twitter beef. Drake released two devastating diss records “Charged Up” & “Back to Back”, while Meek released his track “Wanna Know” a little later. Not only did Meek receive negative response for his diss record, news also surfaced that the Philly rapper would be sued by WWE wrestling legend, the Undertaker, for using his sample in the song.

As for the charity kickball game, the event also featured appearances from athletes including Lebron James and Kevin Durant. Check out some of the clips below.

Travi$ Scott Charged With “Disorderly Conduct” After Lollapalooza

Yesterday, Travi$ Scott ended up being arrested after a brief set at Lollapalooza in Chicago. According to an ABC News affiliate in Chicago, the Houston rapper insisted that the crowd break through the barriers formed between the crowd and the stage. Security kept that from happening, but Scott fled soon after his set was shut down. Eventually, Kanye’s protege ended up being arrested and charged for “disorderly conduct”. However, Travi$ Scott uploaded a thanks to all the fans at the music festival earlier today.

Kendrick Lamar Kills Performance at Osheaga Festival, Brings Out Yaasin Bey

Kendrick Lamar has been doing big things with his single “Alright”. You know it is pretty big when Cincinnati students chant it. However, even legendary hip hop artists respect the cut. Last night, Kendrick Lamar headlined Osheaga Festival in Montreal, and Yaasin Bey (aka Mos Def) just happens to drop by for a brief part in “Alright”. According to Hypetrak, Bey was watching Kendrick perform on stage, and K.Dot tells the audience that Mos Def was the reason why he started rapping. Pigeons & Planes caught a clip of the performance.

Kendrick also performed his verse of  “F*ckin’ Problem” over a beat similar to Dr. Dre’s “Xxplosive”. Check it out below.

E-Jake – “Promise” ft. King Louie

Much buzzed about rapper E-Jake is turning heads in the Hip-Hop circuit with his latest single “Promise” featuring King Louie. Even if his hologram concert is shutdown by police, and his mayoral election is seen more of an unfunny joke than a him serious candidate, Chief Keef has been very busy coming up with unique ideas. Finally, Dr. Dre is releasing a new album after more than sixteen years of waiting. Dre was inspired to release a new project after shooting Straight Outta Compton, a biopic that showcases the story of iconic west coast rap group, NWA (N##### With Attitude). “Compton: The Soundtrack” will feature appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, King Mez, Snoop Dogg, and many more.

As for Detox, Dr. Dre scrapped the project. According to Complex, he believed that even after all of the work done on the highly anticipated project, it still wasn’t good enough to release to his fans. ” I worked my ass off on it,” says Dre, “but I don’t think I did a good enough job.”

Dre Announces ‘Compton’ Release Date, Talks ‘Detox’

People were waiting, and waiting, and waiting for Detox and it never dropped despite the public’s calls for another classic Dre album.   But have no fear, as many are aware, Dre is dropping The Compton project inspired by the Straight Outta Compton movie and now we get a release date for the highly anticipated follow up to Dre’s classic ‘Chronic’ albums. In less than a week everyone can go cop the project on August 7th and from what Dre is saying Kendrick and others went in! Find out more below!

As announced before, Speedin’ Bullet to Heaven is a fully bass and acoustic project from Cudi, but it he still seems to show a glimpse of flow from his Man on the Moon days within his singing verse.
