Are the mother of Chris Brown’s daughter, Nia Guzman, and her boyfriend King Ba blowing Breezy’s money, or are they doing well? Seeing how Guzman is requesting $15,000 a month in child support from Brown, it may not have been a good idea to post a video of baby Royalty playing with money. Do you think it’s excessive for Guzman to ask for $15,000 in child support?

(AllHipHop News) Ever since news reports broke in January that Jay Z’s S. Carter Enterprises subsidiary Project Panther put in a $56 million bid to purchase Aspiro, the Brooklyn-born businessman has become the face of Aspiro’s streaming service Tidal. Jay has defended his latest venture against constant criticism during a public appearance, on Twitter, and at his B-Sides concert in NYC.
While Jay did announce he teamed with superstar musicians Beyoncé, Madonna, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Daft Punk, Alicia Keys, Usher, Rihanna, and seven other acts to re-launch Tidal as an artist-owned platform, many in the public have assumed Jay is the majority owner of the company. Tidal executive Vania Schlogel recently spoke with the Wallstreet Journal‘s Lee Hawkins about the service and Jay’s official role.
“The artist owners felt very passionately about the mission upon which Tidal is founded, and so the artists are equal owners in the company,” said Schlogel. “Jay’s capital that has gone in is at very – I would term it below market interest rate to support the company.”

It seems like Nicki Minaj’s fans are causing quite a stir after Iggy Azalea won the Billboard Music Award for Top Rap Song. The Barbz have started a petition calling for Iggy’s song ‘Fancy’ to be stripped of the award due to ineligibility. After the awards, a tweet from Nicki Minaj caused fans to dig deep. With over 20,000 signatures Minaj’s fans are demanding that the award be handed over.
Fans dug and found what they thought was the the eligibility info. Once eligibility information “was found”, the fans started a petition on Change.org which reads:
“The eligibility time period for nominations is March 10th, 2014 through March 2015 ‘Fancy’ was released on February 17th, 2014, nearly a month before the eligibility starting. This is unfair to the other nominees in this category, especially to “Anaconda” by Nicki Minaj, who most likely would’ve won. Billboard did not follow their own guidelines and should have to recalculate these nominations without “Fancy” as a nominee.”
A rep for the Billboard Music Awards’ production company, Dick Clark Productions, told the International Business Times that the song was eligible and clarified the guidelines. The March-to-March period that Billboard monitors is not based on a song’s release date, but rather its chart performance and sales data within those 12 months. Dang Barbz! Almost doesn’t count.
(AllHipHop News) Stephen Curry and the rest of the Golden State Warriors knocked off the Houston Rockets last night to secure a spot in the NBA Finals. The reigning league MVP once again brought his daughter Riley Curry to his post-game press conference.
The two-year-old stole the show last week when she had social media buzzing from her first presser appearance. Riley stepped up her star power yesterday by giving the journalists in the room a short rendition of Drake’s chorus from Big Sean’s “Blessings.”
Riley got in front of the microphone and began singing, “Waaaaay up, I feel blessed.”
“You wanted to say that,” responded her All-Star dad.
It seemed only right that Riley would be a Drake fan. The OVO rapper did shout out her father on “0 To 100.” Drizzy’s “I been Steph Curry with the shot” line has become a meme used regularly during the Warriors playoff run.
Watch Riley Curry sing the chorus of “Blessed” in the video below.

A rabbi by the name of P. Taras is claiming that he caught an anti-Semitic beat down by Ice Cube. Taras says he bumped into Ice Cube outside of an elevator at the MGM Detroit. Taras said he said something like “Hey watch out,” and Cube had his crew attack him. Taras has filed a lawsuit against Cube for assault and battery, and wants $2 million for his troubles. A rep for Ice Cube says,
“Not only are these accusations a lie, he doesn’t even know who this guy is.”
(AllHipHop News) For any up-and-coming producers looking to get placement with a major artist, you may want to start (or continue) posting your beats to YouTube with a famous name attached. Especially if you’re looking to get A$AP Rocky to possibly rap on one of your tracks.
The Harlem rhymer revealed in an interview with Hot 97 that he discovered one of the tracks from his latest album At.Long.Last.A$AP through that method. Rocky appeared on the Ebro In The Morning Show with collaborator Joe Fox to talk about the project.
“‘Fine Whine’ was something that I typed on the Internet. I typed my name, ‘A$AP Rocky type beat,'” stated the A$AP Mob frontman. “We left the studio, went to the hotel in the morning. I typed that in, found it, and I said, ‘This beat is crazy.’ Took it to the studio, recorded it.”
Rocky does not remember what the beat was named at the time he unearthed it, but once he found the track he had THC co-produce the final version. The album cut also features appearances by Fox, M.I.A., and Future.
Watch A$AP Rocky’s interview and listen to “Fine Whine” below.
