Earlier in the week, Tyga was to appear in an indie movie, but a missing passport kept him from appearing in an urban thriller.
Tyra was supposed to shoot in “Sleight,” but could not play the villain in the movie after losing his passport.
“His people stopped responding to e-mails and phone calls from the producers, so they were forced to replace him at the last minute,” a source told New York’s Page Six.
The rapper was allegedly stuck in St. Tropez, France, which was supposedly verified with his Instagram.
The producers of the movie were not pleased at Tyga’s no-show.
“We had hoped he would walk on set and blow us away with his talent, but we take our productions very seriously,” said Eric B. Fleischman “And when an actor doesn’t share our sense of professional commitment, we have to do what’s best for the film.”
Chris Rivers is back and this time he’s bringing out the heavy weaponry. The veteran Sheek Louch attacks Special Ed’s “I Got It Made” instrumental.

Recently, while traveling the country with The Pinkprint Tour, Nicki Minaj, spotted a man on the side of the road who appeared to be selling some stolen merchandise. In a video posted to the Boss Barb’s Instagram account, she inquired of the gentleman, “Can I have a shirt?” A stream of enamored passers-by momentarily interrupted the convo before Nicki then asked, “Sir, where’d you get those shirts?”
The “Truffle Butter” MC seemed more amused than angered by the discovery. She is heard on the video chuckling. The following caption accompanied her social media post: “Can I have a shirt? When u drive past a person selling your stolen t-shirts on the highway. #ThePinkprintTOUR.”
At the time of the encounter, it is unclear if the Queens lyricist was listening to “B#### Better Have My Money.” Check out the slide for pictures of the alleged booster and Nicki’s IG caption.

Experts and entrepreneurs, Nida Khan and Chuck Creekmur (affectionately known as “Jigsaw” in the streets) have joined forces to discuss everything from politics and international issues, to entertainment and music. This week as the nation marks the one-year anniversary of #Ferguson, “The Unlikely Show” debuts with a focus on the state of police-community relations and the upcoming film ‘Straight Outta Compton’. Nida and Chuck are joined by rapper/activist Tef Poe, who was on the ground in #Ferguson and has been a passionate voice on issues of police brutality and reform. The show also features an interview with legendary artist Ice Cube discussing ‘Straight Outta Compton’ and NWA, as well as police accountability and activism in hip-hop.

“I feel great about the movie,” said Ice Cube about his film, scheduled for release August 14th. “I want younger audiences to be inspired, to be able to change their situation, to be able to creatively deal with their frustrations to try to be constructive, and not destructive. As far as the old heads, I want to take them back and hopefully they feel a sense of nostalgia and they can understand where the music came from, where the group comes from and everything that we stood for.”
On this premiere podcast, Nida and Chuck sit down with Tef Poe to delve into the current state of affairs in #Ferguson, police reform, music, activism, politics and more.
“It’s a lot of trauma,” said Tef about the vibe in #Ferguson. “Nobody ever really dealt with the fact that there’s a community of young folks that fought a military for an entire summer and even through the winter.”
