San Francisco Police Arrest 20+ Black Males During Yung Lott Rap Video Shoot

SFPD Bayview division police arrested more than 20+ Black males during the filming of a rap video shoot for Bay Area rapper Young Lott. The videographer, Brian Storm, kept the film rolling when the shoot was stopped and what you will see is shocking, including police celebrating that there were parole violations.

Brian Storm filmed altercation and this is what he had to say…

“Young men in a poverty stricken neighborhood, purposely staying busy to stay out of trouble, gathered together to do something positive, creative, and productive and ended up being violently stereotyped and prejudged. When there are many murders in San Francisco, is something as harmless as young men shooting a video something almost the entire sfpd needed to be in one place, armed for? If this is the response for that, why is it that when we in poverty stricken neighborhoods need and or call on the sfpd, they do not show up? Food for thought.”

Jermaine Dupri Is Saying Ciara Bit What Singer's Song?

Photo via Ciara’s Instagram

Well people are certainly in the spirit of getting back what they feel they are owed in the music business lately. Marvin Gaye’s family just got Pharrell and Robin Thicke. It seems that artists are always inspired by music by the past, but if one is to use it they have to do it the right way. (The Marvin Gaye case is still.. we digress).

Anyway the latest claim to raise eyebrows is Jermaine Dupri is now accusing Ciara of ripping off Usher’s “U Got It Bad” for her new single “I Bet”. In a new interview with Yahoo, Dupri explained that he felt sympathetic to both sides in the Pharrell and Gaye family case. “Younger producers like myself and Pharrell, we make records that are influenced by other records that are out there,” Dupri. “That’s how hip-hop has always been created — it has some kind of element of something [from] the past. However, Dupri explained that he’s in a similar situation to the Gaye family because he believes that Ciara’s new single, “I Bet,” is too similar to Usher’s 2001 hit, “U Got It Bad,” which he co-produced.

“Ciara’s new single is a complete rip-off of Usher’s ‘U Got It Bad,’” Dupri said. “I’m clear on what I made and I’m clear on how music influences people and I’m clear on chord changes and how people move things.. … It might not be as evident as the ‘Blurred Lines’ situation, but I believe the same thing happened to me.”

A Man Has Been Charged In The Shooting Of Two Ferguson Officers

There is now a suspect in the Ferguson shooting that left two officers wounded last week (Mar. 12). A 20-year-old man named Jeffrey Williams has been apprehended and charged with two counts of first-degree assault, one count of firing a weapon from a vehicle and three counts of armed criminal action, according to Yahoo! News.

Williams has told the authorities that his intentional targets were not the two police officers but St. Louis County Prosecutor says “we’re not sure if we buy that part of it.”

Williams’ gun matches the shell casings that were left at the scene and he was found through tips from the public.

The two officers were shot during a demonstration after it was announced that Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson was resigning from the department.

Is Blue Ivy's Entourage Causing Preschool Problems?

Photo Via Beyonce’s Instagram

Princess Blue Ivy is making some people unhappy.. According to In Touch Weekly Beyoncé and Jay Z’s three-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, has her own entourage taking her to and from preschool — and the other parents are not happy about it! “A security motorcade drops her off and picks her up from school,” an insider at Blue’s West Hollywood preschool said “There are two cars and three bodyguards!” Allegedly Blue’s entourage is causing traffic jams every morning and afternoon. “Beyoncé and Jay Z have made things a huge hassle,” says the insider, adding, “Other celebrity kids get dropped off by one driver, not an entire staff.” So the question is, is there security on hand all day outside of the school for Blue too? Are we the only ones that are surprised Blue goes to a regular preschool? Is this too much or just what is needed? After all little Blue is the offspring of Jay Z and Queen Bey!.
