He then joked about doing a mixtape with Zoe Kravitz, so he may have been joking about Rod but he did say he would never completely depart from hip-hop.

“For me, I let my inspirations and influences in, and that’s better for the music, as opposed to just trying to do a whole different genre,” he said. “I think you should master your craft before you present new art to people, or at least try to master it.”

Rocky already collaborated with Stewart on his no. 1 album At. Long.Last.ASAP  for the track “Everyday” which also features Miguel and Mark Ronson.

Scrilla feels that Haze has taken the issue far too lightly and shown disrespect to his Black friends.

“It’s disrespectful. He thinks it’s a joke,” said Scrilla TMZ, “He wakes up thinking he can be Black today and know what we go through. He doesn’t. I wake up Black every day, he does not.”

There May Be A New Hip-Hop Supergroup!

As we know Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, and 9th Wonder formed a collective called Indie 500. Indie 500 was created with the purpose of being a greater force independent from the major label system. The three power players wanted to join not just on the rap side, but on the touring and business side as well. Rumor has it that Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, and 9th Wonder are now forming a group as well. This is interesting, especially since Monch said he was retiring. If this is true, it will be nice to hear “traditional” Hip-Hop and deeply rooted Hip-Hop music. I think we are all tired of “radio rap”.
